The Dugout Discussion – Burnley vs Arsenal

Share:

Gameweek 7 comes to its conclusion as Burnley welcome Arsenal to Turf Moor.

The Gunners roll up on the back of four straight league wins, with Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott both in fine recent form.

The Chilean teed up Walcott’s pair of strikes in the midweek Champions League win over FC Basel and with three double-figure hauls in four, carries the armband hopes of many at Turf Moor.

Walcott has now notched five times in seven across all competitions and has risen to 6% ownership in Fantasy Premier League.

Another big performance today would surely kick start a bandwagon over the international break, yet Arsene Wenger’s side face an obstinate Clarets rearguard that has conceded just five goals in the previous 17 league matches in front of their own supporters.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Thanks . Thats brave. I wanna do change tonight too. Any thoughts:

2 FTs: Januzaj and Ibra change tonight to:

      A) Son and Deeney
      B) Walcott and Benteke
      C) Sterling and Austin
      D) Mane and Defoe
      E) Any other combo - Budget not an issue except Sanchez 🙁
      F) Wait and loose Son price rise tonight?

      Qs:
      1) Is Son must have now? Does he have international come back issues? I wanna capture his price rise tonight
      2) Should i take a 0.4 loss on hazard who costed me 10.3! I think should wait on hazard till intl break given the problems in my team...

      Pickford (Foster)
Baines, Mc Auley, Valencia (Collins, Amat)
      Chadli, Hazard, Antonio, Capoue (Januzaj)
      Aguero, Ibrahim, Lukaku

      0.1 m in bank. 2 FT left!

Walcott or liverpool mid + somebody. Sorry I haven't been looking into 2nd/3rd striker options - just sticking with costa/rashford.

        1) I'm not convinced enough to get Son - don't really know why. But many here gtting him in.
        2) Yes I'd lose hazard but if there's no rush then wait.

1st RMT of the season (I think)

    Karius, Pickford
    Williams, Lovren, Holebas, Amat, Kingsley
    Firmino, Walcott, Sterling, Antonio, deRoon
    Aguero, Zlatan, Lukaku

0.1 itb, 2 FTs, no WC

    I'm thinking ;

Lovren, Antonio, Zlatan ---> Koscielney, Sanchez, Callum Wilson.

First -4 of the season, exact money, so would prob have to do some moves before internationals to not be priced out.

    Thoughts? Thanks 🙂
