A Belgian duo light up Sundayโ€™s pair of fixtures as Romelu Lukaku grabs his customary goal against West Ham, before Eden Hazard nets for the third successive Gameweek as Chelsea see off Southampton at St Maryโ€™s.

On the Rise

Eden Hazard
There is no doubt that Chelseaโ€™s move to 3-4-3 has handed Hazard the freedom to flourish.

Afforded licence to drift centrally when the Blues are in possession, the revived Belgian scored for the third consecutive league outing, bagging a goal and an assist in the 2-0 triumph.

After peaking at 10.3 in Gameweek 5, he has dropped to 9.8 in recent weeks, yet an explosive return to form โ€“ having notched against Leicester City and Manchester United โ€“ could now trigger a transfer scramble.

Sundayโ€™s 14-point haul was Hazard’s highest of the season and takes him to just seven points off the top of the FPL midfield standings.

Romelu Lukaku
Second only to Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho for acquisitions ahead of Gameweek 10, Lukaku was also the most-captained player by the top 100 FPL managers.

The Everton striker justified that show of faith with a goal and assist against West Ham and is now the top scoring FPL forward.

His run of consistent displays under Ronald Koeman shows no sign of abating โ€“ Lukaku has served up points in six of the last seven Gameweeks ahead of next weekend’s trip to Chelsea.

Diego Costa
A superb second-half strike at St Maryโ€™s maintained a remarkable run that has harvested FPL points in eight of Costa’s first 10 Gameweeks.

Yet again he kept out of trouble and remains on four yellows โ€“ impressively, Costa has been booked in just one of the last six league matches.

Although thereโ€™s been a recent clamour for 3-5-2 due to the number of high-scoring midfielders, the Costa, Lukaku and Sergio Aguero front line is becoming increasingly appealing for those prepared to invest big funds up top.

In saying that, Hazard is now only one point behind Costa and 0.5 cheaper.

Yannick Bolasie
After finding the net against Burnley in Gameweek 10, Bolasie is another player to shed his erratic form under Koeman.

An assist for Lukakuโ€™s opener means he has now produced points in five of the previous seven Gameweeks.

Arguably the only guaranteed starter in the Everton attacking midfield three, his assist was the fourth of the season – already bettering last termโ€™s tally of three while at Palace.

For those already holding Lukaku, though, Evertonโ€™s upcoming schedule โ€“ which hands them encounters with Chelsea, Southampton and Manchester United in the next four โ€“ may well deter a double-up.

Victor Moses
Handed a fourth straight start as a right wing-back by Antonio Conte, the Chelsea midfielder provided the assist for Hazardโ€™s opener.

Moses was also amongst the goals in the Gameweek 8 win over Leicester City and seems to have cemented a regular role in the Bluesโ€™ 3-4-3 formation.

Priced at just 5.5 in FPL, the Nigerian international offered a decent goal threat throughout Sunday’s clash and, having convinced Conte of his worth, may yet emerge as a viable budget midfield option.

Cesar Azpilicueta & Marcos Alonso
Itโ€™s four clean sheets in as many matches for the Blues since the change of tactics.

Again, the Spanish defenderโ€™s suitability to the bonus points system prevailed and helped him to a pair of additional points at St Maryโ€™s.

Impressively, Azpilicueta has been awarded bonus points in six of the first 10 Gameweeks and has collected at least one extra point on the five occasions that his side has registered a shut-out.

Sitting in 11% of FPL sides, heโ€™s now climbed to joint-fourth in the defender rankings, level with Arsenalโ€™s Hector Bellerin on 45 points.

Even so, with John Terry looming as a factor on the bench and Kurt Zouma soon to return from injury, it’s not yet clear if Conte will keep faith with his current back-three in the mid-term. Marcos Alonso, at left wing-back, therefore appears to offer a more secure option.

Ross Barkley
Barkley nudged back onto the radar with a finely taken volley for the Toffeesโ€™ second.

Unlike his fellow midfielder Bolasie, this was Barkleyโ€™s first attacking returns since Gameweek 2, when he earned an assist away to West Brom.

Having dropped to the bench as recently as Gameweek 8, Barkley is unlikely to clamber ahead of Bolasie for those eyeing up the Everton midfield. A price tag of 7.2 to the former Eagles wingerโ€™s 6.0 means that Barkley remains peripheral in our thoughts for now.

In Decline

Phil Jagielka
The Everton skipper went into Sunday’s match as their top scoring defender, having started all nine of the opening fixtures.

Dropped to the bench as Ramiro Funes Mori came in alongside Ashley Williams, Jagielkaโ€™s absence coincided with the Toffeesโ€™ first clean sheet in six Gameweeks.

Funes Mori earned a single bonus point to return seven points and stake a claim for regular inclusion, though the upcoming schedule hardly appears conducive to clean sheets.

Winston Reid
The West Ham skipper toppled off the Suspension Tightrope after earning his fifth yellow card of the season.

Reid had racked up 29 points in the previous three Gameweeks but now sits out the Gameweek 11 home clash with Stoke.

With Spurs, United, Arsenal and Liverpool in the subsequent four, clean sheets may well be in short supply for Slaven Bilicโ€™s side.

Men and women of FFS, would you mind helping an awful FPL player come to some kind of decision?

    Heaton
    Holebas - Mustafi - Lovren
    Firmino - Sterling - Coutinho - Chadli
    Aguero - Ibra - Austin

    Pickford - Capoue - Baines - Amat

Here are the main options I can see....

    A) Baines to Fuchs, keep Ibra for Swansea and see what the deal is with Kane after international break. Also means I have Fuchs v WBA instead of Holebas v Liv (a)
    B) Ibra to Costa
    C) Ibra to Lukaku
    D) Ibra+Sterling to Lukaku+Hazard (only have 0.1m spare on this deal so would ideally need to make it tonight)

    Thoughts?

Ibra + Fuchs vs Costa + Holebas.

Think they may come out equal and A is better long term anyway. More importantly, with A, you can join the rest of us in playing the waiting game for Costa to get his yellow.

Don't think Lukaku needs to come in this week.

Anyone mind helping an even worse FPL player than that kind moderator above?

    A) Valencia -> Fuchs and Deeney -> Austin. 0.6 buffer for CL or EL injuries/press conferances [-4]
    B) Valencia -> Alonso and Deeney -> Austin. 0.1 buffer only [-4]
    C) Valencia -> Azpilicueta and Deeney -> Austin. 0.0 means I'm doing it now [-4]
    D) Only one of those moves. Evans(lei) would play this week if I only take out Deeney. Obviously Deeney(liv) would play if I only take out Valencia [FT]

If It matters I've got Redmond which would mean a double up and 4 South Americans who are all risks after intl. break.
Leaning D atm but not sure which one.

So hard to find the right transfer this GW. Firmino and Hazard rising fast. At the same time my defense not looking too good. May need to take a hit this GW. Current team is.

    Foster - Pickford
    Koscielny - Coleman - Holebas - Amat - Kone
Sanchez - Walcott - Couthino - Shaqiri - de Roon
    Aguero - Lukaku – Austin

    1 FT, 1.3 itb

Not sure if it is smart to loose Walcott, but otoh don’t know if it is necessary with Arsenal double-up for the next few GW’s. Current transfer ideas are either of

    A) Walcott –> Firmino
    B) Shaqiri + Coleman –> Firmino + Nyom/Cameorn –4 pts
    C) Walcott + Coleman to
    D) Coleman –> Fuchs
    E) Foster –> Heaton

    Your thoughts much appreciated!

Hey all a little help needed

    Pickford, Grant
    Williams, Holebas, Vertong, Kingsley, Amat
    Firmino, Allen, Capoue, Walcott, KDB
    Aguero, Costa, Lukaku

    a) Williams and Amat for Stones and Lovren -4
    b) Williams and Capoue for Stones and Moses -4
    c) Amat to Lovren no hit
    d) Capoue to Moses no hit

Capoue price drop today I think and not sure Amat is going to play or not so bit risky shipping him

    Thanks

Scrolling down the page, Jay needs help, alright.
      Looks at A, decent.
Looks at B, boring but decent.
      Looks at C, conservative approach
Scrolls a bit more... Christ almighty -12? That's the Jay I know ๐Ÿ˜€

Team is fine, I would just do A)

D and E can be burned right away.

I did A so would suggest that. Fosters fixtures are good now.

Ah I see you've spotted the perfect Hazard enabler.Shame he doesn't play until tomorrow night so Haz will have risen by then.

B or C. Probably B. Or Stones > Morgan (low priority)

Keep Deeney for this week and change next.

That's a solid team anyway, D and E would be mental decisions.

    Any changes needed?

    got 2 FT's?

    Heaton - Jaku

    Kos - Evans - Amat - Friend - Shawcross

Sanchez -Capoue - Bolasie - Firminio - Fletcher

    Kun - Luakau - Costa?

Don't like being top heavy, but its doing well so far

    A) Sterling > Firmino to bring my points hit to -8 for the week... or B) stick with current -4.

It sounds bad typing it but have already lost -0.1 on Sterling, he's going down again tonight and do want Firmino at some point.
