Where exactly is Gundogan playing? I would have thought he's in the deep lying CM? He's becoming a bit hard to ignore.

ye im wondering the same thing last night he played silva instea of nolito id imagine to crowd the midfield more, but he will probably play sterling and one of sane/nolito on the wings against boro meaning there are 3 cm spots for 4 players kdb silva gun and fernadinho. surely the former two are nailed so it seems to me he is contesting wuth fern for the dm spot? He has been playing before with kdb out in the kdb role but now kdb is back.

He played alongside KDB against Barca so who knows. 4-1-4-1 is an interesting formation.

      City were playing a 4-1-4-1.

Gundo one of the middle two behind Aguero in that central 4, so he has much more licence to get forward with Fernandinho providing the cover in front of the back 4.

but with silva and kdb central where does he fit in?

        1. devils advocate

Maybe Silva and KDB aren't both nailed on to play centrally.

Pep did say near the start of the season that he'll happily play KDB and Silva wide if he has to, and thinks both are just as effective out wide.

It's all speculation on our part when it comes to guessing what Pep will do. There's a good chance all the players will rotate positionally at different times.

One thing I can suggest is don't think Silva and KDB are automatic picks to fill both those central positions.

Chelsea look so bloody good i want to jump on them immediately

Would you wildcard this lot now?

    Or maybe in the IB?

    Jaku Foster
    Bellerin Valencia Stones Friend Amat
Alexis Theo Firmino Coutinho De Roon
    Aguero Benteke Wilson

(I'd probably do it if Theo and Bellerin aren't fit?)

IMO you've a bit too much cash tied up in defence and unsure of Theo with Ramsey back and potential of giroud looming.
Also not convinced by benteke Wilson combo when others are firing int. break is an issue though could be worth waiting...
Wildcard gives you free upgrade to Heaton too

Chelsea's fixtures don't get properly good until December so you maybe have time on your side. The only worry is prices will have risen multiple times in that period should they get any form of return in the meantime

      Sell, sub-optimal
poor fixtures, injured, not sure, poor fixtures, dropped
Keep, poor fixtures, keep, keep, OK
      Keep, no form, no form

Gundogan may maintain it if he keeps his position. But with so many good players who can play there its tough to see him keeping that spot.

In addition, he scored 10 goals in 108 games for BvB. He has never been a prolific goalscorer before. So there are question marks. Has Pep changed his position? Will Pep stay with the 4-1-4-1 he has used recently? Will Gündoğan be subject to rotation? Are the recent goals a sign of things to come or an outlier?

Only hindsight will be able to answer those questions. Meantime those that have bought him have price rises to bank and good immediate fixtures to look forward to.

    thoughts on a -12 with
    Austin in for Deeney
    Hazard in for Shaqiri
    Francis in for Valencia
    Pieters/Mee in for Williams

Shaqiri Valencia are injured, Deeney is useless and Williams has v tough fixtures coming

the 2 x 4.5 defenders are required to raise cash, basically 9.1 for 2 defensive spots

    Koscielny - Vertonghen - Matip - Holebas - Amat
    Sanchez - Payet - Firmino - Arnautovic - Carrick
    Aguero - Defoe - Deeney

    2 FTs and 0.1m itb

Thinking Denney + Arnautovic +Koscielny :arrrow: Austin + Hazard + Lowton for -4.

    Hi All
I'm doing pretty well (4k overall and only 80 points off top spot) but team a little troubled this week:

    Cech (pickford)
    Daniels, Clyne, Holebas (williams, amat)
    mane, couthinho, sanchez, allen (bolasie)
    deeney, aguero, defoe.

I can't decide if I would be silly to do a hit. i've been toying with the following options:

    a) Bolasie > Gundogan
    b) Bolasie and Defoe/Deeney to Gundogan and Austin
    c) Deeney / Defoe to Austin
    d) something else!?

    Please help!!

Wouldn't bother with a hit but Deeney/Watford look awful ATM so getting rid of him for Austin v Hull makes sense.

    Thoughts on the below?

Either looking at Lallana and Koscielny to Firminho and Alonso for -4 or sticking. Have exact money to do the former if I pull the trigger now

    Heaton-Jaku

    Koscielny-Holebas-Evans-Amat-Kingsley

    Sanchez-Hazard-Coutinho-Lallana-Allen

    Aguero-Lukaku-Barnes

    Bottomed.

    Heaton
    Monreal Rose Smith
    Firm Cout Sterling Wally Allen
    Kun Lukaku

    Given Williams Stuani Love

    1FT 0.9ITB

    Intend to do:
    Fuchs -> Monreal

    GTG?
