Our first members article of the week delves into the Gameweek 10 data. We take time to assess the recent ascent of Joe Allen and Eden Hazard and analyse the City and United attacks, before casting an eye over Bournemouth’s improving playmaker and Tottenham’s raiding left-back.

Is Sterling to Gündogan for a hit madness? Frees up tons of cash and the bandwagon is scary. Would generate a lot of cash as well. And Sterling is in fact falling... What are you thoughts?
    Yay or Nay and why?

Nay because there is a big likelihood that Sterling will outscore Gundo even without the four point advantage. Just wait for a week and then do it if it still looks a goods move to make.

but Sterling may drop one more time this week (three red arrows at already almost 50) and Gündogan will double rise...

You can still easily make the transfer next week and bank a few million doing so.

Nobody knows who will score more points during the weekend but I'd say Sterling has a pretty good chance of outscoring Gundo with -4 weighing on his back.

If you need the extra 0.2-0.3 for another transfer then it might make sense long term.

but I am really really undecided. Sterling really should score more, but he has missed everything in the past few games. sometimes form just beats anything..

    Thoughts on this - 4.

Capoue, Walcott, Mustafi ----> Gundogan, Mata, Alonso.

Leaves me 0.0 ITB. Currently have 2 FT and 0.1m in bank.

Alternatively, could leave Walcott in there and just do Capoue and Mustafi to Gundogan and any defender 5.4M or less (Stones?).

That's another option. You don't think Stones at 5m offers as much potential as Fuchs in the short term at 5.4m?

Leicester have great fixtures and he is on some set pieces. Also more chance of Stones being rested.

I don't think so for a -8 with Austin still to play on Thursday. Definitely worth it if Walcott confirmed out before the weekend but he hasn't been.

    1. Champione

you have to look at each hit separately. The risk that you won't win back the points becomes greater the more hits you take. Also remember that your target is to get a good team long term and it's therefore important to do hits that justifies the minus over a couple of weeks 🙂

    Team for this week

    Heaton (Pickford)
    Vertonghen, Williams, Holebas, Evans (Amat)
Sanchez, Sterling, Lallana (Snodgrass, De Roon)
    Aguero, Costa, Lukaku

    0FT, 0.5 in bank

Snodgrass -> Allen worth a -4 hit? (Can then play 3-4-3 as usual)

The Wildcard chip can be used twice a season, once in the first half of the season (before 30 Dec 19:00) and once in the second half of the season. The Wildcard chip is played when confirming transfers that cost points and can't be cancelled once played.
