Our first members article of the week delves into the Gameweek 10 data. We take time to assess the recent ascent of Joe Allen and Eden Hazard and analyse the City and United attacks, before casting an eye over Bournemouth’s improving playmaker and Tottenham’s raiding left-back.

Would love to but I have Kun, Costa and Lukaku up top!

Might have to be Lallana who sits on the pine this week...hmmm

Being stuck with Diomonde has saved me this headache as I have to play 3-5-2 every week. I would play redmond I think but it's a really close call

    Anyone considering Leicester players?

They have a really good set of fixtures coming up and I am thinking of getting Mahrez instead of Son.

    Any thoughts appreciated 🙂

I'd go with their defenders to be honest. I am not sure Mahrez has done anything to justify me forking out almost the same cash for him as I would for Hazard and Chelsea's fixtures also pick up in a few weeks

In a season with so many explosive midfield options I just can't get excited about spending that much on a Leicester player. Last season has gone

Worried that Walcott may not start and with Form/Fixtures/Value and Price rise it seems like a good time for my first hit.

Here is my team after my proposed 3 transfers and taking a -4 hit if i go ahead, thoughts would be highly appreciated

    GK: Dea (Valdes)

DEF: Stones, VanDijk, Morgan (Evans, Williams)

MID: Redmond, Sanches, KDB, Gundagon, Firmino

    STR: Lukaku, Wilson (Benteke)

Players transferred out: Lallana, Walcottt, Valencia

Players Transferred in: KDB, Gundagon, Evans

    1. noquarternt
      • 10 Years
      9 years, 5 months ago

      Benching Benteke?

I think your team structure is all over the place and you need to work out which formation you want to play.

Do not take a -4 as you definitely don't need to. Think up a better transfer situation using 2FTs (or even just 1) to probably get rid of Valencia. Probably a really cheap downgrade as your defence is good already. Then wait until Friday. If Walcott is playing then:

      De Gea
      Stones VVD Morgan (Williams, ???)
      Sanchez Firmino Walcott Lallana Redmond
      Lukaku Wilson (Benteke)

Then next week downgrade one of your mids to someone cheap, then upgrade Wilson/Benteke to Costa/Aguero.

That's what I would do, hope it helps.

No such thing as 'cover'. The massive risk is having a team of mid-priced players whereas most serious players will have a few of Costa Hazard Sanchez Aguero Firmino Coutinho and then an Arsenal/Spurs/Chelsea defender. I think your defence is ahead of the curve, but you don't need hits.

I have had Capoue since the beginning and now he looks to fall again in the next couple of days. I am slowly losing the money I made. So, do I take -4 hit to get rid of him for Gundogan? I already have Allen so my plan would be to keep both and see how they do as time goes along.

Lloris + Payet + Capoue + Deeney to

-12 and perhaps a little crazy but I think it sets up my team a lot better for the next 4-5 GWs.I also have Gundogan to come in for the suspended Arnautovic this week (rather than Capoue).
