We can’t quite call it a comeback but it’s progress.

Jonty’s radical solution to help solve his nosediving season was to throw off the shackles of his traditional dullard ways and start taking transfer hits.

It’s working, a 74-point Gameweek is enough to get him back and track and edging towards unlikely respectability. Like a Phoenix, dusting himself down and now pondering a rise from the ashes.

Personally, I’m not sure what’s more puzzling, Jonty’s struggles this season or Andy’s determination to cling to Zlatan Ibrahimovic like some muscular, ponytailed comfort blanket. At least Granville was wise enough to get rid after the Swede failed him yet again.

        Yeah it has to be the opposite of what they are currently doing. Neville and Giggs for me. The club are losing their identity and need people in charge who are United and care about United.

      boring or not i dnt care. i want effectiveness. atm this team is not effective. cant score and cant defend. but but but looking on the bright side chances are good. they need to sharpen thier boots.

      We got to get our head out of sir alex era. gone were the days, we the superior team in the league, now hot money is coming in thick and fast. Teams like stoke are able to spend average 15-20m a player , buying players who will be better then our youth and better then our bench players.

      we got to hold on and parking the bus seems to be a fair option with a fast counter attacking team. we dnt hve a bus and we dnt have vmuch fast players

    Considering Deeney, Shaqiri and Robertson out for Austin, Gündogan and Fuchs (-8).

    Sounds a bit mad in some way but otherwise I will have to play both Holebas and Deeney away at Liverpool.

    To put it another way, who's gonna score more?

    A) Deeney and Holebas + 8
    B) Austin and Fuchs

    I'd say it could easily be something like 11-15 points for option A whereas B could get anything between say 10 and 20.

      I would be looking at it longer term than just one fixture, certainly when it's a minus 8...
      Can't you do Deeney > Austin and then bench Holebas who is worth keeping IMO - he has 33 points from his last 4 games!

    Hi all,

    Anyone need a player for the chili cup?

    My team is in good shape and currently ranked 67k.

    I started playing last season and after a late start ended with an OR of 64k, which could have been bettered, but I took a lot of hits to win a cash league, which I did even though I started later than everyone else in the league.

    This season I'm focusing just on OR so I'm trying to only take hits when required.

    If you need a player then let me know.
