Dugout Discussion – Chelsea vs Everton

The final act of a dramatic day is delivered from Stamford Bridge, as Antonio Conte’s Chelsea seek a fifth straight victory and clean sheet from their clash with Everton.

While Chelsea’s defence will be a focus for some Fantasy managers, this is very much a tale of two strikers, with the in-form Diego Costa and Romelu Lukaku colliding.

The Chelsea man is backed with the armband by 8% of FPL managers, while Lukaku claims 4%. The Belgian has returned in six of his last seven Gameweeks and will provide a stern test for Conte’s rejuvenated defence.

Eden Hazard is the other headline act on show – he’s bidding for his fourth successive goal, having attracted more than 148,000 owners heading into the Gameweek – he’s backed by 3% with the captaincy.

      Logically no, switch after Mane plays Sunderland at home but with the way this season's been going I wouldn't be surprised if Mane gets a random back injury and can't play while Hazard gets a hattie against Man City away.

      I'd rather lose Lukaku and upgrade a mid, but I don't have him and have Haz and Sanchez... after that run Arsenal also have great fixtures from GW18-23.

        Hmm actually that might be a good idea too. I was thinking about shipping Austin for cheap ass Anichebe (4.5M). That would allow me to upgrade Walcott to Hazard. It would leave me with Fletcher and Allen in midfield though.

        Your option would mean I have to get rid of Lukaku. Hmm. It would allow me to go from Fletcher to Hazard yeah, but damn letting Lukaku go is tough too...

    I sold Hazard 4 weeks ago for Son. Maybe my worst ever transfer.

    There are so many good options this season you could comfortably have three different teams all with completely different midfields and they would all do well over a number of weeks.

    Maybe just sticking to a team for a while is better than jumping on the latest high scorer, because I know for a fact if I get Hazard in for Firmino then Firmino is going to get a hat trick.
