Dugout Discussion – Chelsea vs Everton

The final act of a dramatic day is delivered from Stamford Bridge, as Antonio Conte’s Chelsea seek a fifth straight victory and clean sheet from their clash with Everton.

While Chelsea’s defence will be a focus for some Fantasy managers, this is very much a tale of two strikers, with the in-form Diego Costa and Romelu Lukaku colliding.

The Chelsea man is backed with the armband by 8% of FPL managers, while Lukaku claims 4%. The Belgian has returned in six of his last seven Gameweeks and will provide a stern test for Conte’s rejuvenated defence.

Eden Hazard is the other headline act on show – he’s bidding for his fourth successive goal, having attracted more than 148,000 owners heading into the Gameweek – he’s backed by 3% with the captaincy.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Am thinking to take a 8 pt hit to do Aguero+ Allen+ Bellerin to Costa+ Hazard + Alonso for -8.
    Costa can match Aguero points.

      Cant sell him and get Haz without a -8. I'll have to do Sanchez -> Haz and leave sterling against CPY. Feels slightly weird.

            I know they are great. Sticking with Cout though. Looking at Firms returns and Hazards makes it seem a reasonable choice and I think Cout us more involved than Firm and has upped his game ten fold.

          Would you prioritise getting Alonso first, or sorting bench? If Alonso, then a 'Pool mid will have to turn to Walcott, if sorting bench then Redmond can be Moses/MaticAllen but that rules out Alonso.
