Dugout Discussion – Spurs vs West Ham

A bitterly disappointing Saturday rumbles on with a tea-time encounter at White Hart Lane.

In Fantasy terms, the clash between Spurs and West Ham looks likely to offer little compensation – aside perhaps for a scouting mission on Harry Kane and a potential clean sheet for the 37.7% owners of Kyle Walker. Son Heung-min’s decline as an option continues as he is relegated to the Spurs bench.

West Ham turn up having enjoyed something of a revival and boasting the fading Fantasy asset that is Dimitri Payet. His talents will be monitored, although an evil run of fixtures for Slaven Bilic’s side is likely to temper any enthusiasm in the Frenchman and Michail Antonio; now owned by just 9.2% of FPL managers, he looks likely to start at right wing-back again this evening.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      this honestly looks like a good team - you might pull a luxury transfer here (dropping Allen and releasing funds)

      Walcott is better value than Siggy if nailed (no signs of him not being nailed yet).

      I'd drop Fuchs the week after - Lei look abysmal away and although they're facing Sunderland I'm expecting them to concede.

    Bitterly disappointing gameweek indeed.. think I'm getting rid of Aguero. As much to avoid picking the "safe" captain as it is his average returns bar two great returns in his last 6/7 games.

    That aside, this Madrid derby is scintillating. Ten times the speed and aggression you'll see in most top-of-the-table EPL clashes. Watching in a Barcelona bar after they've dropped points at home to 10-men Malaga and it really is a unique experience. Couldn't care less about my awful gameweek (until the morning) .. switch on the game if you're not watching.

        The 2nd red card is no reflection on the result though. The crowd was fascinating to watch over the last 15 or so minutes. Hissing at the ref over questionable penalty claims. Neymar was fairly poor throughout and got an awful verbal doing.

    Would you play either Amat (Palace h) or Pieters (Watford a) over Capoue (Stoke h). Capoue scored today so hopefully it could be the start of a bit of a roll for him & maybe players will see his points & start buying again. I just realised Capoue's 10 points equaled my team score of 10 from 7 incl (c) lol.
