Dugout Discussion – Watford vs Stoke

Sunday treats Fantasy managers to four matches as Watford and Stoke get matters underway in the midday kick-off at Vicarage Road.

We have high hopes for the Hornets wing-backs Jose Holebas and Daryl Janmaat, with the duo earning a spot in our Scout Picks and Spot the Differential articles respectively for Gameweek 13.

Etienne Capoue, meanwhile, has the chance to show just why he was last week’s second most transferred in player, with the Frenchman netting for the fifth time this term in a 2-1 win over Leicester.

Stoke roll up without the suspended Joe Allen after the Welshman collected a fifth caution of the campaign last time out.

Those holding the likes of Marko Arnautovic and Xherdan Shaqiri will be hoping for an upturn in form ahead of next week’s home clash with Burnley. With the fixtures set to turn against the Potters from Gameweek 15 onwards, many will be already planning an escape route.

      He is walking the tightrope now. Should have gone already when booting the ball away.

      The pen decision was correct though, wasn't a penalty but wasn't a dive either.

    Dodgy assists down to a deflection or whatever are one thing and FPL can justify what they see fit. But awarding the assist to the wrong player and mistaken identity and then not changing it is pretty shocking to be honest. Swansea fifth goal yesterday still not sorted.

        They gave assist to Taylor (no.3) when Fernandez (no. 33) got the assist. Taylor wasn't within 50yards

      I played Holebas over Pieters, attacking threat swayed it ... Doesn't look so good 🙁

          yeah defenders only score 3 out of 38 games mostly and they are the good ones. Its nice when they get a 15 pointer but rare. If you have 3 defenders who are good at scoring it's probably better to play the attacking defenders

          Anyone tempted by Alli as a replacement for Coutinho? Great fixtures in 3 of next 4 games and capable of big returns. Maybe not on best form so it's a slight gamble.

          Just Austin to play today and already falling behind in my friends league. This is crisis. I could need some help on how to go forward with this team

          Ive got 0 ft and 1.7 ITB.

          MY plan is to take a hit and take cedric in for fuchs. Then wait until city have played city and getting in ibra and alli/eriksen for aguero/gundogan. Then again switching Alli to øzil in the end of december.

          What to do ? I really want to get rid of gundogan and fuchs but cant see any interesting player right now. And I am not sure if it is worth hitting them both off ?
