Our usual post-Gameweek delve into the data arrives, as we assess some of the most impressive performers over the previous round of fixtures.

Sunderland, West Brom and Tottenham Hotspur all supply us with a pair of standout options, while we check in on City’s key creator and a Southampton differential as the fixtures turn in the Saints’ favour.

I like Son as an option, I think he's fairly nailed whilst Lamela is broken, and could have easily outscored Eriksen last week who had some jammy points.

Longer term you'd want Eriksen for sure, but I'm considering going with both of them next week for their 2 plum home fixtures.

I think we're going to see a Charlie Austin exodus after his 62 minute goalless display on Sunday.

Too many options for Puel to tinker with now that Tadic is back in the fold and Boufal is playing well.

Not so sure, his fixtures are great and can't see anyone else becoming a great option in that price range, except maybe Wilson. Iheanacho and Origi are too short term I think

Agreed, that's why so many people will be forced to keep him.

I just have this feeling he's trending in the wrong direction and it's better to be ahead of the curve in ditching.

I would say so. While they're still in the CL it would be very poor form if he were to be sacked.

He's qualified top of the group in the Champions League. Leicester completed football last season, they're just playing for fun now.

Absolutely zero chance he gets sacked.

As a Sunderland fan those numbers confuse me. Shows how clinical Defoe is and as beast as Anichibe is playing for us, he's not even on the same planet in terms of finishing.

Anichebe's stats are great. You think he can be a real option in the long term? Or is it just a purple patch?

He's playing unbelievable, I just don't see him going on a massive scoring run, even if his stats are unquestionably good.

Always liked him as player. Big, uncompromising, quicker than you'd expect - can be a real handful, but history shows us his goals record ain't great.

Big change here is that he's playing up top with another striker, and one who is a clinical finsher, so may have changed his game somewhat.

Short answer - no idea if it's just a purple patch. History says yes, but could be a different player now.

6 goals is the highest he's ever gone so it'll be interesting to see if he can keep up the form..

He's playing on the left of a front three, usually pinning the fullback and bullying him like he did with Simpson at weekend who he tortured. Couple weeks before anichbe played on right against the young 17yrd old who was in a LB for HULL. It's a tactic that's working wonders and coming back to the Leicester game it allowed PvA space to run in behind, hence an upturn in his stats.

I think anichibe is possibly in the form of his life and as such is bound to see profits of it through goals, however history tells us he'll never be prolific.

In terms of FPL I'd take defoe every day, even for £2.5/3m more.

Amazing to think it looked like Moyes was only one game from the sack not too long ago and now they look like they could very well pull it out of the bag i think given time Moyes will do great things with Sunderland imo

Personally think Moyes is very limited now as a manager. Just seems to have lost it tactically, and his defeatist, reactionary rhetoric puts a ceiling on how far a team will go. He will always play to not lose first, and that's fine with Sunderland but it means lower midtable is really best any team can expect with him.

But fair play to this transformation, you wouldn't tip them to go down now which is very surprising given early season form / history.

Yeah I must admit I'd wrote him off and wanted him out. A lot was down to what he was saying, as much as what the team were doing. We're growing in confidence though and I really think we could beat Swansea on sat, which would likely take us out of the relegation zone. When you consider we were sitting on 2pts after 10 games, I think that's an amazing feat.

    Heaton ▪ Jakupovic
    Cedric ▪ Holebas ▪ Amat ▪ McAuley ▪ Evans
    Alexis ▪ Walcott ▪ Firmino ▪ Hazard ▪ Sigurdsson
    Kane ▪ Austin ▪ Anichebe

    3.5 ITB, 0 FT

    A) Make Walcott => De Bruyne next GW
    B) Jump on Alonso wagon, sell Amat or Evans
    C) Do Anichebe => Costa downgrading Walcott, back to 3-4-3

    Heaton
    Alonso Mustafi Williams
    Hazard (c) Firmino Sigurdsson Snodgrass
    Kane Austin Iheanacho

    Subs: Foster, Alli, Amat, Pieters

Thoughts? Should I go Alli or Snodgrass in my XI?

I've got some obvious problems here - Deeney and Redmond being the obvious ones..

I've also got £2.1 but no FTs

    Foster/pick
    Walker/stones/holebas/Amat/pieters
    Sanchez/firmino/ Wally/ Redmond/ fletcher
    Costa/Kane/deeney

I'd like to do something like deeney - ineacho....

    Is it worth the -4?

I'm 0.1 off wally + deeney ---> hazard and ineacho...

Lose Baines or Valencia to a cheaper option and upgrade one of your 4/5th midfielder.

I'd be careful of picking a 5th mid you'll want to start every week too. Just causes too many headaches.

      Yes

How can Conte ignore him after his performance after coming off the bench against City

    Heaton, Pickford;
    Alonso, Cedric, Brunt, Cameron, Amat;
    Sanchez, Hazard, Firmino, Siggy, de Roon;
    Kane, Costa, Austin.

Got carried away with the hits this weekend (-12) but the team looks strong enough to be a WC team.
Aguero, Walcott, McAuley, Holebas > Costa, Sanchez, Alonso, Cedric

Hopefully I can bank the transfer this week and then do Cameron > Friend in the not too distant future.

That team looks like a dream.. very jealous. Who are you going to captain?
I did the same and took a -12pts hit this weekend

      Pedro/Walcott/Gundogan >>> Hazard/Sigurdsson/Can

      -------------------Karius-------------------
      ------Mustafi Koscielny Holebas------
      --Lallana Can Sigurdsson Hazard--
      -----------Costa Austin Kane-----------
      SUBS:
      -Pickford Barragan Capoue Francis

      What do you think?

      1. Z
        • 9 Years
        9 years, 4 months ago

        Probably San(c)hez.
Solid team, not too keen on having Lallana and Can but could prove to be an option over the short-term.
Maybe look at changing one of your Arsenal defenders to Rose/Aldeweireld/Alonso.

Do you think Costa captain for me? Or someone else?
Yeah, Can is to free up some funds- then likely to get rid of Lallana and Koscielny in the long term as will need Sanchez
          Alonso is also a must

            I'd captain Hazard over Costa.
Midfielders get more points for scoring and gain a point for CS too.
