Gameweek 17 delivers one last match for Fantasy managers as Everton entertain Liverpool in the first Merseyside derby of the season.

Adam Lallana arrives at Goodison as the most sought-after target in Fantasy Premier League last week – over 290,000 drafted him in on the back of a 19-point haul at Middlesbrough.

Divock Origi was the number one forward for transfers in ahead of Gameweek 17 – the Liverpool frontman has recovered from a knock and is looking to score for the fifth successive Gameweek.

In terms of FPL captains, Romelu Lukaku and Sadio Mane are the two most popular picks for tonight’s match.

The big Belgian has struggled for form, though, failing to earn points in five of his previous six league outings.

Although he’s flourished at Anfield, Mane has disappointed on the road, serving up six blanks in eight road trips.

Meanwhile, Roberto Firmino – the third most transferred out ahead of Gameweek 17 – will be looking to stop the fire sale and end a run of five straight blanks against a defence with just a single clean sheet in 12 attempts.

    Guys, thoughts on this:

    A) Stones to Valencia and play Defoe.
    B) Stones to Alonso, Defoe to Llorente & -4

      I would just do Defoe to llorente and avoid the hit. Chelsea's luck could run out. Bournemouth attack well. And Alonso doesn't really offer attacking threat. Get him next week for free

        Ironically, attacking threat is why I want Alonso. He hit the bar with a free kick and could be more easily involved with Diego out.

          Yeah the free kick could've easily gone in, but other than that, he's quite sloppy in the final third. Go with your gut

        What now!? Alonso offers no attacking threat!?

        He's been very unlucky not to get more returns than his 1 goal and 2 assists in his 14 games... which isn't bad for any defender, let alone one who keeps a CS almost every week.

        I wouldn't take a hot on Defoe > Llorente to fund his purchase though

        No attacking threat? He has a goal and two assists...and didn't even start the season. What are you on about saying that Alonso isn't unlucky, he's bad at finishing (which is true), but then trying to say that Chelsea clean sheets are lucky instead of just good.

      Not for a hit imo. Firmino looked better against Everton, and Defoe is still good value. Will play every match, on pens, high goal involvement, scored against City and Arsenal.

      Definitely not worth getting rid of Firmino for a hit.

      Defoe to Benteke is a trickier one as I don't think there's any chance Sunderland score at Utd whereas you'd probably fancy Benteke away at Watford.

      Don't like the idea of losing Siggy or Holebas. Not tempted by Origi either.

      Your best move is probably Nacho > Llorente/Carroll, I think. I don't think it would be worth shifting Siggy with the upcoming fixtures.
      Option C - wouldn't be worth the -4pts

          If Stones isn't getting CS, he needs to go. P.Jones is as good as any until the usual injury. Can't rely on Capoue for points now. How do you get yourself in this sort of mess?

            A good question. Lots of mistakes I guess. Capoue at least has decent fixtures until I get round to upgrading Fer. Is P Jones nailed with Smalling returning?

      I'd be going Stone to P.Jones for a hit. You really need to sort that defense. I'd be downgrading Payet to Walcott or the likes too.

    I have Costa (10.3 mil.). His price has raised to 10.9.
    So, doing Costa->Ibra for takes me to -0.6 mil.

    Got 2ft.
    What about:

    Fuchs->Jones (suspect: nailed or not!!!)

      I didn't have much value tied-up with Costa - so decided on keeping the available player (Kane).
      All things being equal the following GW; Kane > Costa is on the cards.

        I say that bcoz WBA defence even away wont make it easy for Wallcott. Eriksen is in form and looking dangerous, agreed Soton is not an easy defence to score against, but why waste your sub. You could use it better on defence or strikers.

    Was thinking Jay Rodriguez in for Lallana maybe, to be able to upgrade Anichebe who is a waste of space. But there are not many 3rd strikers that intrigues me.

          easy 2 move transfer would be Firm to De Roon. and
          Eriksen to Sanchez

          mud then will be. Sanchez. Haz. Siggy. Wally

          otherwise upgrade haz (instead of eriksen) to sanchez and upgrade anichebe to Negredo
          as otherwise you will have to.play anichebe or De Roon every week

          tough I know but some sacrifices have to be done for Sanchez
          You should have got him earlier
          that would have been easy
