Gameweek 17 delivers one last match for Fantasy managers as Everton entertain Liverpool in the first Merseyside derby of the season.

Adam Lallana arrives at Goodison as the most sought-after target in Fantasy Premier League last week – over 290,000 drafted him in on the back of a 19-point haul at Middlesbrough.

Divock Origi was the number one forward for transfers in ahead of Gameweek 17 – the Liverpool frontman has recovered from a knock and is looking to score for the fifth successive Gameweek.

In terms of FPL captains, Romelu Lukaku and Sadio Mane are the two most popular picks for tonight’s match.

The big Belgian has struggled for form, though, failing to earn points in five of his previous six league outings.

Although he’s flourished at Anfield, Mane has disappointed on the road, serving up six blanks in eight road trips.

Meanwhile, Roberto Firmino – the third most transferred out ahead of Gameweek 17 – will be looking to stop the fire sale and end a run of five straight blanks against a defence with just a single clean sheet in 12 attempts.

    Anyone else think KDB is way overpriced? For an 11.0m midfielder he needs to be scoring an awful lot more points than he has to justify that price tag. He should really be about 9.5 or so based on his FPL points scoring history.

      I dunno, he seems nailed on for 7 or 8 points minumum a game with his 1 assist and 3 BAPs. He's due an explosion too. Decent option.

    I qualified for the cup, got fourth green arrow in a row and comfortably leading in my mini league. Ben Gibson's 8 pointer on the bench is killing me but at least I'll learn to never make 11:29 transfers again. My goal is to finish December and 2016 with two more green arrows. Bring it on! 😎

    Are we playing Pickford (man) or Grant (liv) next week?

    Battle of the save points is always a tricky one to call.

    Liverpool most shots in the league but Stoke decent at the back so maybe Pickford gets the nod.

      Grant for me at the moment.

      Everton nearly kept a cleanie againt Liverpool and I'm captaining Ibra against Sunderland.

      It probably will come down to save points in the end, though, as its hard to see either keeper keeping a cleanie.

        I don't think his price will be protected. Given the fact that every week there are some bandwagons he could actually fall back to 9m or even 8.9m. He'll be red flagged for one month and you know how knee jerky people are. They see a flag and just sell. He served me so well I can't thank him enough! 🙂

      It looks pretty strong on the paper, you just have to pick the right captain now. Sadly you have to bench Ake who is in phenomenal form and I think I'd play McAuley ahead of Muniesa because of his goal threat. Are you benching Costa this week and keeping him?

    Manchester United are set for talks with Benfica about defender Victor Lindelof, reports The Sun.

    The Portuguese club want £42m for the Swedish centre-back, who is being chased by a host of European clubs.

    Reports in Portugal claim Super-agent Jorge Mendes and Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira arrived in Manchester on Monday to complete Lindelof’s transfer to Old Trafford.

    However, The Sun understands the two clubs remain apart in their valuation for the 22-year-old.
