Gameweek 18 comes to its conclusion this Wednesday evening as Southampton welcome Tottenham Hotspur to St Mary’s.

Claude Puel’s men seek a fourth successive clean sheet in front of their own supporters, with ever-present Virgil van Dijk (13% ownership) the most popular Saints player by some distance in Fantasy Premier League.

After netting twice in the 3-1 win at Bournemouth, Jay Rodriguez retains his role up front and is afforded another chance to play his way into our plans ahead of some fine upcoming fixtures.

Back-to-back home blanks against Hull and Burnley persuaded many to part company with Harry Kane last time out – the Spurs frontman was second only to Diego Costa for transfers out in Gameweek 18. Nonetheless, a big performance could have a big effect in the FPL standings – Kane is the sixth most captained player for this round of fixtures.

His Tottenham team-mate Christian Eriksen also earned significant sales after failing to deliver points against the Clarets, yet both have the underlying numbers to punish those who chose to look elsewhere.

        I agree with you but I'm just saying it's a temporary blip and not a long term thing. I can't see how anyone would want him with those fixtures coming soon but I'm happy to keep V Watford cause he has an excellent away record and he's on pens. Yes he's not playing well but could've still bagged a haul tonight.

  Personally don't see the value in Heaton at the price he is now.
  
  Grant (assuming he manages to get a permanent deal) Randolph and Hennessey are all better value picks with everything taken into consideration, imo. Possibly add Valdes to that list also.

  Would defo get Heaton if I had an excuse. He's been a killer all season, much like Butland last year. Not owning him as been so annoying, you get what looks a score of 10+ over the top 1k average, then that bugger goes and gets 10 pointer, nulls all the hard work.

      So Foster. Makes a lot of saves. Chances of a big haul against the big teams (he was 5 minutes away from an 11-pointer at the weekend). Best fixtures of any at that level.
      
      Palace GK could also be good but we don't know Sam's 1st choice when Mandanda is fit.

        I would also take Foster at that price point if it were me.
        
        Have you looked at Randolph? 4.4, playing out of his skin, 2 CS in 3 but it was nearly 3 in 3, West Ham looking a fair bit better defensively, decentish fixtures...
        
        Gone for a Grant/Randolph rotation pair personally, Grant will become Hennessey/Mandanda if he can't nail down a permanent deal... both combinations rotate really well until the end of the season.

Help needed: Transfers - Alli, Lallana and Costa in for Hazard, Zaha and Kane (already have Eriksen so double Spurs, Alli has 3 goals and 3 assists in 6 gameweeks). A. Are these good transfers or not? Part of my reasoning for it is to fix my Zaha conundrum. B. Any other options 8.1m and under I could buy?

  I've been looking at these options too and none look that great now pen duties could be in doubt for Benteke.
