Gameweek 18 comes to its conclusion this Wednesday evening as Southampton welcome Tottenham Hotspur to St Mary’s.

Claude Puel’s men seek a fourth successive clean sheet in front of their own supporters, with ever-present Virgil van Dijk (13% ownership) the most popular Saints player by some distance in Fantasy Premier League.

After netting twice in the 3-1 win at Bournemouth, Jay Rodriguez retains his role up front and is afforded another chance to play his way into our plans ahead of some fine upcoming fixtures.

Back-to-back home blanks against Hull and Burnley persuaded many to part company with Harry Kane last time out – the Spurs frontman was second only to Diego Costa for transfers out in Gameweek 18. Nonetheless, a big performance could have a big effect in the FPL standings – Kane is the sixth most captained player for this round of fixtures.

His Tottenham team-mate Christian Eriksen also earned significant sales after failing to deliver points against the Clarets, yet both have the underlying numbers to punish those who chose to look elsewhere.

Since Jamie Redknapp said 'I'd rather have Kane in my team than Zlatan':

    Kane: 300 minutes. 0 goals, 0 assists
    Zlatan: 360 minutes. 4 goals, 3 assists

Theory: Do the opposite of what Jamie Redknapp says.

Neither. Keep Origi - he is playing, he has blanked once in the last 5 GWs. At his price you can't ask for more than that. He is pretty secure in this line up:

      Lallana Henderson Can
      Mane / Coutinho* Origi Firmino

      * Mane until he goes to AFCON and then Coutinho. Sturridge is a bench warmer with his 20 min cameos and FA Cup starts.
