Theo Walcott is likely to miss Arsenal’s clash with Palace. Sunderland stopper Jordan Pickford is out for six-to-eight weeks with a knee problem, while Philippe Coutinho remains unavailable as Liverpool entertain Man City.

Here’s the latest team news ahead of tonight’s Gameweek 19 deadline.

Arsene Wenger has conceded that he doesn’t expect Theo Walcott to recover from a calf complaint in time for Arsenal’s clash with Palace. Kieran Gibbs is also likely to miss out, though Danny Welbeck and Shkodran Mustafi are both back in contention. The Gunners boss also admitted that he has “one or two uncertainties with flu”, though failed to elaborate.

Liverpool pair Philippe Coutinho and Joel Matip remain sidelined for the New Year’s Eve clash with Man City, with Jurgen Klopp conceding he’s “pretty sure” the Brazilian will also miss the Gameweek 20 clash against Sunderland two days’ later.

Jordan Pickford has been ruled out for six-to-eight weeks after straining knee ligaments in Sunderland’s loss at Old Trafford. David Moyes has confirmed that Jack Rodwell, Javier Manquillo and Steven Pienaar have resumed light training – all three are unlikely to start, though have a chance of making the bench.

Claudio Ranieri is hopeful that Danny Drinkwater will be fit enough to start at home to West Ham. The Leicester boss also hinted at a first-team return for Riyad Mahrez after utilising the Algerian as a sub against Everton last time out.

Nathan Redmond serves a one-match suspension as Southampton take on West Brom. Claude Puel will assess the fitness levels of his players as they prepare for the second of three matches over a five-day stretch.

Swansea’s Jefferson Montero is expected to be sidelined for up to a month with the hamstring injury that forced him off against West Ham.

Watford pair Daryl Janmaat and Valon Behrami could be out for up to three weeks with the knocks that forced them off against Palace on Boxing Day.

Maarten Stekelenburg and James McCarthy are both still ruled out through injury, while Bryan Oviedo joins them on the sidelines as Everton make their way to Hull in the first match of Gameweek 19 this evening.

Jeff Hendrick is suspended for Burnley’s clash with Sunderland, while fellow midfielder Dean Marney will be assessed after picking up a knock.

Hull’s Abel Hernandez is back in training following a hernia operation but remains around two weeks away from a return.

Viktor Fischer is Middlesbrough’s only injury absentee for the trip to Old Trafford, while Antonio Barragan is set to serve a one-match suspension.

Manuel Lanzini is back in training but remains a slight for West Ham due to a rib injury. Pedro Obiang is available after serving a one-match suspension, though James Collins remains sidelined, with Slaven Bilic expecting the Welshman back next week.

Mark Hughes has revealed that Phil Bardsley has returned to training and could be rushed back into action due to a lack of defensive options for Stoke’s trip to the Bridge. Marc Muniesa and Geoff Cameron remain sidelined through injury.

Marc Pugh and Lewis Cook are Bournemouth’s only absentees for the trip to Swansea, Eddie Howe has confirmed.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of this evening’s 7pm deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Need some help to sort this out:

    Foster - Pickford
    Alonso - Holebas - Matip - Barragan - Amat
    Hazard - Lallana - Sanchez - Redmond - Allen
    Ibra - Kane - Carroll

Obv. Kane needs to go for Costa but I think there are bigger issues (Matip/Redmond).
    1.7 ITB, 1 FT

    Redmond + Matip -> Philipps/JayRod + Valencia?

Walcott to Sterling for -4 a waste? First off the bench is Klavan. I guess Sterling would have to assist twice or score to make it worth it.

Three FTs in 3 days to sort out my shambles of a team (411k OR 🙁 ). Which 3 would you do? Thinking definitely:

Nacho out as he's not playing, either Lukaku or Kun in
Evans/Foster out to free up a West Brom attacking slot for their good run
Siggy or Haz out, likely Phillips in to free up funds for Nacho > Luka/Kun

    Heaton, Foster
    Alonso, Jones, Brunt, Friend, Evans
    Hazard, Alli, Firmino, Siggy, Allen
    Ibra, Costa, Nacho +0.7 ITB

      Gk/Def look real solid tho

I got Allen very cheap & he's a 5th midnrather than a starter so wasn't inclined to sell... Nacho has been a nightmare though, he's actually lost me 0.3 in pure TV since aigned him instead of Origi when Austin got crocked.

Siggy as well, 2 more games & happy enough to sell.

Looking ahead to Coutinho return wouldn't mind pairing him up with Firmino again they scored a lot of points earlier in year.

Plusnthink Haz to Lallana frees up 2.5m without much of a drop off in points...

Jay rod & Sterling both look good value at those prices if they keep playing...

        Too many decisions!

Aguero - is he too much of a risk for the money now? Normally he is my first choice and my team picked around him but .... he has been dropped & criticised by Pep this season, lost his 'untouchable' status, missing penalties, losing his head and getting banned, games in Europe ... is he worth it if it means breaking up the Ibra Costa combo ?

Not worth it. Yeah he can be explosive, but he can also not score for a few games.

If he was the same price as Costa, Ibra he'd be worth it, as he's not, can the saved money be better used elsewhere? Probably.

Same every year.. Its a hassle to get him in for some people so they try to justify not having him. Till he gets a brace/hatty and invariably becomes essential again. That said he might be rested against Burnley as its so close after the Liverpool game. So Ill probably get him in after

Midfield looks too weak for 3-5-2, third striker too weak for 3-4-3 and defence too weak for 4-4-2. Need to downgrade Ozil or Alli to someone like Lallanaa and upgrade one of Capoue, Diomande or the 4.0 defenders in my opinion.

    Grant / Pickford*
    Keane / Holebas / Amat / Stones / Evans
    Sanchez / Hazard / Sigurdsson / Eriksen / Capoue
    Ibrahimovic / Rondon / Defoe

1.6m in the bank and 1FT.

Consensus seems to be that his place is safeish so think I'll keep until after Sunderland game as long as he plays this weekend. We'll see

I don't see why it isn't. I believe he's preferred over Sturridge and Liverpool don't have that many options right now. His form is quite good too, always putting in a shift, pushing opposition defenses back, scoring and assisting.

Hmm. Definitely wait and see if pressers give any information.

In Watfords current situation I think Capoue will have to play 2x90 mins, which could be beneficial for you depending on Amat situation. Cedric will most likely be rotated at some point in the coming weeks and Origi is also questionable.

But the crystal ball isn't clear on what's best in your situation.

Thanks all, tricky one but think I'll downgrade capoue and reassess next GW

As comments show there can't be much difference in expected points, so more flexibility for next week is definitely understandable.

Probably already been discussed, but has anyone gone for the Ibra, Costa, Aguero frontline? If so, how does that affect presumably the midfield?

You could, and your midfield would look something like:

        Capoue, Allen, Phillips, Zaha, Fletcher

My team value is not great but I can get the CIA up front and still have

          Foster Pickford
          Alonso Azpi Jones Brunt Phillips
          Sanchez Lallana Phillips Allen

Third mid is a bit weak but it's not as ridiculous an idea as some here make it out to be

        Still pretty torn myself.

        Weighing up:

        i) Kane -> Costa (free)
ii) Ibra or Costa as (C)

          Think so.

Baines in for Walker. Now going with Hazard (C) - (was Ibra)

          Yep.

Did two transfer before prices rises/falls and seems to have paid off. Walcott will most likely not play that much over the course of next two. So now I just hope that we don't see to many unexpected things across starting line-ups.

          In:
          Sanchez
          Pogba
          Out:
          Walcott
          De Bruyne

Really stuck this week. Any help much appreciated

        Boruc Pickford
        *Walker* Holebas Friend Brunt Amat
        Hazard Sanchez Siggy Eriksen Fletcher
        Kane Ibra Origi

        0 ITB 1 FT

        a) Walker > Valencia/Jones
        b) Walker > Baines
        c) Walker & Siggy > Alonso & Phillips (-4)
        d) Save

I know. Just putting it out there, Been burned by Giroud already in GW13. If he nails a few starts could really do some damage with those fixtures though.

I hate that it's me. I was dead certain on that transfer, but I'm only not doing it for I'm going to replace Walker. Thinking Kane + Rose/Monreal outscores Costa + Smith

Spurs fixtures turn really good soon, Chelseas turn worse.

Chelsea tendency to win win games by narrow margin, Spurs score more freely.

Started last match, Everton kept a clean sheet, can expect him to start this time as well. Even in the team news section he is in the expected line-up.
