I get them too, only tends to happen on astro for me, absolute nightmare.

had them once, was told to rest three weeks minimum. thought that was a naff idea and kept exercising. they got bad. to the point where they would be gone, i'd run a few miles and have them again. so think about the rest. i'm on a 3 month rest at the minute, coming towards the end of it and i still have the tiniest one in my right shin.

I got them on both shins before and it was when I started back to training with new boots too. There's a few things that can be at fault, ankle support from the boots, boots that's are too tight - maybe you've a broader foot than the boots been designed for. I changed boot to something more accommodating to my broad foot (Adidas Ace) and it got rid of the shin splints. In any case there's ways of reducing the pain. Prior to exercising use a foam roller on your shins to get the blood flow to them and do ankle exercises like rotations and extensions.

not easy one. Giroud has nice fixtures but if you 100% sure that price change will not allowed it than I would do it. Bonus is that Lukaku will play in blank GW

If fit (and I know its a big if) then I would expect Giroud with 2 home games to outscore Lukaku with 2 aways. Lukaku unlikely to go up again until Friday night at the earliest so you'd have time to wait.

Not really. I think they were too slow last year players like mahrez and vardy too slow increasing. It rewards managers who pick the right players early on like early Costa and Sanchez owners the start of this season

There is a free-ish midweek after the Cup Final but it's been earmarked for FA Cup replays. Provided both Manchester clubs don't need a replay then it remains possible - however there's not much time to arrange this, and you'd have thought a rescheduled Manchester derby would take more arranging than a run-of-the-mill match. I'd say odds-on that this midweek won't end up being used for the re-arranged game.
