In retrospect, it seems that a lacklustre defeat at Watford in Gameweek 15 has been the making of Everton’s season.

Since that 3-2 loss at Vicarage Road, the Toffees have finally clicked under Ronald Koeman, chalking up five wins and a draw in the subsequent seven league fixtures.

The Dutchman’s decision to roll out a wing-back system has been key to their recent ascent.

Everton have chalked up four clean sheets in the last five Gameweeks, bringing both Seamus Coleman and Leighton Baines onto our radars as the Merseysiders offer the perfect combination of form and fixtures for the foreseeable future.

Identically priced in Fantasy Premier League at 5.6 apiece, and with clashes against Stoke, Bournemouth, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, West Brom and Hull City over the next seven Gameweeks, we assess the Toffees duo’s recent displays as we look for the most appealing route into Koeman’s much-improved rearguard.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

        True.

It's the friend one that concerns me, that and the Lallana flag almost gives a reason to sell

Even without a flag, selling Lallana is a good move. I'm in the same boat and will get rid of him before this GW starts.

            Even with Mané coming back?

I still think it is, but it's worth considering keeping him now if you got other pressing issues.
Also gives you time to wait and see how the Wally story goes.

Wouldn't have sold him ahead of a matchup against Liverpool's leaky defence, indeed I've kept hold of him. I would have waited until after Liverpool, but that's just me.

If you still have him I'd hold onto him for at least this GW. Its not like another 0.1 drop is going to affect your ability to replace him, is it!

Yes I still have him just waited until the cup games are all done. Fools gold making early moves around Cup ties. Really like the idea of having Alli in with Kane for Sunderland though!

Alternatively I can hold Hazard and sell Toby and Phillips to bring in Alli and Holgate..?

Yeah, I like Alli for Lallana in my team, but I'd have to downgrade Carroll to Crouch to be able to afford that.

I have 2FT so that's not the issue, but I'm not sure how long Crouch will remain a Stoke starter.

Think I might make that move then I have 0.2m left to do Jones >Brunt when rotation bites/GW26 blank. I need to sell a WBA player as I have Fletch & Evans too.

We are fortunate that Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Murray are all playing in the same era. The players coming up behind them are not in the same league - going to be a dry period for tennis when they go.

He's an 'all time great' because the British have been craving for a decent tennis player.

Having said that Murray is a lot better than Wawrinka as his record suggests but I could name at least 5 better off the top of my head to have played in the 21st century nevermind all time

The parallel between Federer's and Nicklaus's careers struck me as interesting. 18 Grand Slams each with the last one achieved in the twilight of their career having had a considerable break after winning their respective 17th. Both have nearest rivals who have won 14 Slams (Nadal/Sampras; Woods)

    Forster Grant
    Chambers Yoshida Jones Baines Alonso
    Mirallas Coutinho Hazard Eriksen Davies
    Kane Costa Rondon

    Debating 2 of these:
    Forster > Foster
    Jones > Van Aahnolt
    Hazard > DeBruyne

    Suggestions will be much appreciated.
