In retrospect, it seems that a lacklustre defeat at Watford in Gameweek 15 has been the making of Everton’s season.

Since that 3-2 loss at Vicarage Road, the Toffees have finally clicked under Ronald Koeman, chalking up five wins and a draw in the subsequent seven league fixtures.

The Dutchman’s decision to roll out a wing-back system has been key to their recent ascent.

Everton have chalked up four clean sheets in the last five Gameweeks, bringing both Seamus Coleman and Leighton Baines onto our radars as the Merseysiders offer the perfect combination of form and fixtures for the foreseeable future.

Identically priced in Fantasy Premier League at 5.6 apiece, and with clashes against Stoke, Bournemouth, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, West Brom and Hull City over the next seven Gameweeks, we assess the Toffees duo’s recent displays as we look for the most appealing route into Koeman’s much-improved rearguard.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

I have no qualms now selling Hazard and keeping Pedro. Must not be blinded by price! Pedro clearly the better option at present and in better form.

My stats say Baines has better points pr minute

So Coleman for differential or double with Baines.

But the choice between them is easy, Baines on pens, more bonus etc

Presumably the PPG difference largely came from before the switch to a back three? Assuming that switch benefits Coleman more (which seems logical) then it might not be the best guide to future returns?

Can anyone summarise what is happening with the blanks now, please?

Why isn't there a resource on FFS to check on this?

or Hull. Could have 4 games in GW28 if both lose for a start.

Not overly keen on the Zaha pick atm, with a likely blank in GW28. I'd also keep Giroud over Lukaku for GW23.

        GW28 is ages away!

Have £6m to spend though so could consider other options too.

I have all 3, though would prefer Walker instead of Eriksen. Alli may be the best player in the league and Kane had penos.

    Confusion reigns.

My head hurts trying to figure out what is going on by reading the comments. So frustrating.

Utterly unbelievable that there is no official post from FFS on what is going on with blanks. In fantasy football terms, this website is failing in its duty of care to its paying members.

We have full match by match Scout Notes being worked on currently to be published in the morning - I'll be editing them tonight. They will explain exactly the impact of today's games.

On top of this, we've also separate articles on the who blank/DGW scenario already booked in, written by an FFS community specialist.
