After a disappointing Tuesday evening, we’ve high hopes for the three remaining matches in Gameweek 23.

West Ham and Man City get us up and running at 7.45pm as the pair go head-to-head at the London Stadium.

The major news is that the fit-again Sergio Aguero is only named on the bench for City as Gabriel Jesus is afforded his first league start up top. Pep Guardiola also drops Claudio Bravo and hands Willy Caballero a chance between the posts.

With fixtures on their schedule in Gameweek 26 and 28, the in-form Hammers are of keen interest to Fantasy managers, with the likes of Andy Carroll and Michail Antonio offered the chance to stake a claim for our plans this evening. New signing Robert Snodgrass warms the bench, though Jose Fonte is fast-tracked into the first XI by Slaven Bilic.

Man United entertain Hull and Stoke welcome Everton to the bet365 in the pair of 8pm encounters.

With Alexis Sanchez managing just an assist against Watford and both Diego Costa and Harry Kane serving up blanks, the stage looks set for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to produce the goods at Old Trafford.

The United frontman was the top captaincy choice for Gameweek 23, with 22.9% handing him the armband at home to a Tigers outfit that have conceded more goals away from home than any other side.

Everton, meanwhile, have been subject to considerable investment on the back of five wins and a draw in the last seven rounds of fixtures.

Similar to West Ham, upcoming matches in Gameweek 26 and 28 boost the Toffees’ appeal, with many keeping an eye on Seamus Coleman, Leighton Baines, Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku as we plan ahead to deal with the inevitable cup postponements.

    .8m itb. 2ft

Jones injured so he probably needs to make way now. Need to upgrade Anichebe now as well I think as he's just been sitting on my bench for months.

    Foster (Heaton)

    Alonso Coleman Brunt Jones* (Pieters)

    Eriksen Phillips Sanchez Lallana (Stan)

    Ibra Kane (Anichebe)

Crouch worth a punt? Or too punty? Or leave Anichebe and upgrade somewhere else?

    Lloris, Heaton
    Alonso, Baines, Brunt, Friend, Amat
Sanchez, Eriksen, Antonio, Phillips, de Roon
    Ibrahimovic, Kane, Lukaku

    1FT, 0.2 itb.
4k rank, and 40 points clear in MLs.

    Considering taking the first hit in ages;

Lloris and Friend -> Randolph and Coleman. (-4) Yes / no?
Have exact cash, so can't wait because of Colemans imminent rise.
Randolph because of good rotation with Heaton and no blank.

On Saturday I worked out all my (potential) transfers up until GW33 ish.

Last night I already messed it all up by rage transferring Pedro out (to catch Antonio's price rise...).

I was supposed to get Coleman this weeeeek. Damn you Pedroooooo

    1. F4L
      • 11 Years
      9 years, 3 months ago

pedro had to go. Too much for a rotation risk. Planning ahead never seems to work, the landscape changes every week

      1. Deulofail
        • 10 Years
        9 years, 3 months ago

I tend to agree. But I'm trying to fit in all the potential decent(ish) players for the blanks (where others are choosing to blank themselves), and then rebuild according to fixtures. So it wasn't set in stone, but I was counting on Pedro to last another 4 weeks :/

        1. F4L
          • 11 Years
          9 years, 3 months ago

well, at least Antonio dosent blank and is still a really decent option

            • 10 Years
            9 years, 3 months ago

Yup. That was my thinking 🙂

Just gotta decide whether to take a hit to get Coleman, simply to get my plan back on track (plus an extra FT effectively in the grand scheme of the Master Plan *evil laugh*)

Pedro will start against Arsenal most likely, should have kept tbh.

      1. Deulofail
        • 10 Years
        9 years, 3 months ago

I don't know about "most likely". I thinks it's more of a "we just don't know" situation. It seems futile to try stealing points with an extra player or two in the blanks if I'm happy to risk rotation, especially against a top team like Arsenal rather than a terrible defence.

coleman very attacking. Baines seemed reluctant to get forward and wasent on any set-pieces worryingly. The change in formation did limit Coleman's attacking potential however

    Heaton / Robinson
    Walker / Alonso / McAuley / Holebas / Amat
    Sanchez / Eriksen / Alli / Sig / Phillips
    Ibra / Giroud / Barnes

    £1.3m ITB, 2 FTs

Team in the best position its been all season on the back of 4 big green gameweeks in a row, but these two FTs are going to be massive.

Instant thought Holebas > Coleman now and then think about what to do with Giroud? Or is it silly removing Holebas over Amat as he has a GW 26 fixture and faces Burnley(H) this GW? But can't keep a CS for fun...

    1. Champione

      Grant - Pickford
      Kosc - Rose - Baines - Ake - Amat
      Sanchez - Eriksen - Pogba - Phillips - Can
      Ibra - Kane - Rondon

Have slipped a few thousand in OR the last few weeks, but it looks like I have to sort out my defense first now that Rose is out.

Have 2FT and 0.0 in the bank.

Any reason not to do Rose and Kosc out for Coleman and Brunt?

Kosc has little value with at Chelsea, at Pool, and two blanks in the next five.

Good moves. Personally I chose Walker over Brunt. No GW28 fixture but great fixtures apart from that. Much greater chance for easy CS as well. They are likely to get almost equal attacking points imo

It is 100% serious. I know you will say to play Sanchez, but the statistics suggest the opposite. I think the score will be 1-0 so why play him? Also, Arsenals's form is falling. What suggests that they will score? One goal vs Watford at home.

No just do giroud & rose > Coleman & Lukaku for free. Ditching Sanchez is ludicrous until he blanks at least.

What's the early view on jones? Why everyone so keen to get him out? He definitely injured?
      Thanks

Was going to trade him or Holebas to Brunt today and a whiff of injury enough for me to decide

Do I move on Rose or Jones for Coleman?

Has to be Rose right, but ideally both gone soon?
