Hector Bellerin remains doubtful for Arsenal’s home clash with Hull. Sofiane Boufal is sidelined for Southampton’s trip to Sunderland, while Jonny Evans comes back into contention to hand Tony Pulis a defensive dilemma as the Baggies make their way to West Ham.

Mohamed Elneny is back in contention for Arsenal after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations. Hector Bellerin requires a late assessment, though, after being forced off with concussion in last week’s loss at Chelsea.

Sam Allardyce has confirmed that winter signing Luka Milivojevic is available for selection after his visa issues were sorted. Jeffrey Schlupp is back in training ahead of the trip to West Ham but Scott Dann looks set to miss out after limping off with a hamstring problem last weekend.

Mark Hughes has admitted that Stoke still have concerns over Xherdan Shaqiri and Glen Johnson ahead of a home clash with Palace, with the latter likelier to make it. The Potters boss also conceded that new arrival Saido Berahino is not yet up to full match sharpness.

Sofiane Boufal is Southampton’s only new injury concern for the trip to Sunderland, with manager Claude Puel ruling out the Moroccan due to an ankle problem.

Swansea new boy Jordan Ayew is available for the visit of Leicester after returning from Africa Cup of Nations duties earlier in the week. Jefferson Montero and Ki Sung-yeung will miss out again, while Leon Britton is also unavailable, Paul Clement has revealed.

Eddie Howe has a number of worries in defence, with the Bournemouth boss set to make late decisions on the fitness of Charlie Daniels, Simon Francis and Adam Smith. All three have failed to train this week ahead of Monday’s match.

Mauricio Pochettino is hopeful that Kieran Trippier could return for Tottenham’s trip to Anfield, though Danny Rose, Jan Vertonghen and Erik Lamela are still sidelined.

Hull’s Michael Dawson has been ruled out for “a few weeks” with a calf complaint, while Marco Silva has worries up front after Abel Hernandez was sidelined for “three-to-four weeks” with a hamstring injury. Ahmed Elmohamady is back in contention, though, after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Tony Pulis has revealed that Jonny Evans and Claudio Yacob have both been passed fit for West Brom’s trip to West Ham.

Andy Carroll, Aaron Cresswell and Cheick Kouyate are set to undergo fitness tests ahead of West Ham’s clash with West Brom, Slaven Bilic has confirmed. Sam Byram, Havard Nordtveit and Alvaro Arbeloa are all in full training and expected to be available.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Sanchez is gonna explode this week. Hatty IMO. My spreadsheet has him rated higher than my lukaku captain last week.

    Good luck to all

Hoping Lovren/Klavan are out again. Word is Karius will be starting. Liverpool could be in tatters at the back. Spurs could run riot if they get their act together.

    Grant (Jaku)
Mustafi - Baines - Brunt (Rose, Chambers)
    Sanchez (c) - Alli - Coutinho - Antonio - Phillips
    Lukaku - Costa (Diomande)

Hi. Need some comment/advice on this.

    Gk : Jakupovic ( Heaton )
    Def : Alonso , Coleman , Brunt ( Holgate , Amat )
    Mid : Sanchez , Eriksen , Alli , Fraser , Davies
    Fwd : Ibra , Jesus ( Crouch )
    Gtg?

    Was thinking on
    1) swapping Alli for Siggy
    2) Davies for Morrison
    3) Or any swapping that could be recommended.

Or should I save the 1FT?

Is there any way to get Siggy into my team without taking out the Spurs midfielders and Sanchez that would be worth doing?

    Team:

    Heaton, Forster
    PVA, Baines, Coleman, McAuley, Amat
    Antonio, Sanchez, Eriksen, Alli, Capoue
    Lukaku, Costa, Rondon

    1FT £0.1m ITB

    What do you recommend?

      Rondon > Fodder
      Capou > Siggy

Probs not worth a hit mind you.

Then if you couldn't afford Antonio > Siggy you could also do Capou > de Roon to enable. Another hit though!

      Foster > Jaku
      Antonio > Siggy

If you really want him, not sure if it's worth it

    Current mid-
    Sanchez Mirallas Eriksen Phillips Fletcher

    A-Save FT
    B-Mirallas to Snodgrass
    C-Eriksen to siggy?

I also have Kane for spurs cover

    personally leaning towards
Mirallas to Snod (Snod certain starter, plays GW 26 & 28, Mirallas not a certainty)

Ye Mirallas to Snod would be my choice. Snod seems nailed. Mirallas is far from it.

Anyone else find they make a lot of mistakes after Christmas?
It happens to me every year... I was going along quite nicely and then...

    1) Went for Benteke over Defoe when I could have afforded either (cost me around 21 points so far)
    2) Brought in Stanislas for a -4 which has ruined my team structure and priced me out of being able to afford the likes of Lukaku or Siggy without hits.
    3) Sold Alli before his 3rd double digit haul against Chelsea (13 points lost)
    4) Prioritised Eriksen over Lukaku for the last two game weeks and even captained the Dane last week (30 points lost)

    Nightmare!

Mine has gone the other way although the wildcard helped. I was also fooled by Stan but got a goal he least. I've had Eriksen and alli for a while, defoe and Lukaku as captain last week. Sometimes it goes one way, sometimes the other. Benteke is unlucky as he made sense although someone like stanislas will always be more risky and less likely to end well

I've actually found the opposite - so many mistakes before christmas. Since GW17, which was my worst overall ranking of 662,000, I've now pulled it back down to an OR of 142,000 and am well set for the upcoming blanks with a WC in my pocket.

      actually opposite for me.
Tend to struggle to get things right 1st part of season and January usually sees the start of the fight back.
Started this year 875 k (having dropped from 275k when Coutinho got injured and been as low as 975k). Now back to 225k.
Last season started Jan around 600k and finished 6k (completely messed up chips as well). Year before around 1m in Jan and finished 32k.

How likely is it Kane will drop? Debating Anichebe, Aguero, Ibra and Phillips to Kane, Lukaku, Jesus and Tom Carroll but if there is much of an upwards change in the prices, I won't be able to afford it.

Wouldn't get rid of Kane - Stoke home in GW26 and excellent run of fixture GW26-34!

    1), 2), 3) or 4) after this GW?

    1) Sell Ibra (bought at 11.2, current price 11.6)
    -> Lukaku in

    2) Sell Sanchez (bought at 10.9, current price 11.8)
    -> Siggy in

    3) Both

    4) Keep both GW26-28

    1. Crafty

I would be considering either be keeping both, or selling Ibra for Lukaku after this GW. You have so much value invested in both of them, but it also depends if you are trying to catch up in the mini-leagues or maintaining the top and the rest of your team.

I'm around 100 points behind the leader.

        My team:

        1FT, 0.1 itb

        Heaton (Jaku)
        Coleman/Baines/Brunt (Rose, Chambers)
        Sanch/Haz/Alli/Phillips/Stanislas
        Ibra/Kane (Diomande)
