    Jaku Pickford
    Alonso Coleman McAuley Maguire Mawson
Eriksen Mane Siggy Phillips T. Carroll
    Kane Ibra Lukaku

Won't bore everyone with all the headache-inducing alternative permutations... but I have exact money for Phillips to Sterling tonight (before Phillips drops). It's simple. It's clean. And I'm really tempted.

That would save me a load of hits (which would come with any other moves) / hokey-cokeys (Lukaku-Kun-Lukaku) / taking out good players (Kane/Eriksen) / lost value etc. Is Sterling enough City cover regardless of tomorrow's result, or is the potential stress of watching Kun in a DGW when I don't have him too much to bear?

Short version: if getting Kun involves lots of hits and complications and team is already set up well without him, is Sterling enough City cover?

Glad I'm not the only one. Have been considering about twenty different configurations of hits and whatnot, and giving myself a migraine in the process, then suddenly realised the Phillips --> Sterling option was there and maybe enough on its own. Which way are you leaning?

    2. Sess!

Go for it. Phillips isn't worth losing sleep over. Not like he'll do much even if he is fit for gw28.

      1. hackneylad
        • 13 Years
        9 years, 5 months ago

Yeah it's more going without Kun that worries me - doing this tonight shuts off any realistic avenues to getting Aguero in, but feels like it might be the best option

Cheers all. The optimist in me thinks that even if Kun explodes, Sterling (who I'll prob captain if he has a double) will likely be somewhat in the points and so potential downside of not having Kun is limited. We'll see if I feel that calm when the games begin...

Me in the catch-up position, I am getting Kun. If your sitting pretty in your league- no need. Btw, Phillips is at -77% in FFFix so he won't drop tonight most likely

Good plan or too many hits? (Getting Sanchez GW 29 is a priority).

GW 27 Eriksen, Costa > Sterling, Kun for -4
    GW 28 Sterling > Mane / Cou / Barkley
GW 29 Mane, Kun > Sanchez, Costa for -4

But if Phillips is out than swap for King in GW 28 so it would be a hit there too.

Really don't like losing Mane week 29 as he has good fixtures and is class. Sanchez can wait until fixtures improve week 30 or so; otherwise looks good

Against my better discipline, since it seems so sexy, I am looking to get talked out of this -8 insanity:
    Jaku Heaton
    Coleman Alonso Baines Daniels Mcauley
Alli Mane Siggy Philips T Carroll
    Kane Kaku Defoe. 4.4 itb
    Defoe will fall tonite:
So would you do Defoe to Ibra tonite; and then if City beats Hud:
Alli to Sterling for DGW to free up enough to do Kane to Kun... all for -8 this week???

    1. Sonny “The Hitman&rdq…

King worth consideration given he has pens, potentially OOP, cheap (just about benchable as a 5th mid) and has a game gw28.

Getting 2 City players is risky and safe.
Risky as Pep may rotate but safe as if he bench one of them other may play both games so it's like getting 2 lottery tickets instead of one, right?
He can bench both and that would be a disaster..
