Laurent Koscielny and Aaron Ramsey are back in contention for Arsenal’s trip to Liverpool. West Brom wide man Matt Phillips remains doubtful for the visit of Crystal Palace, though Andy Carroll is expected to be fit as West Ham go head-to-head with Chelsea.

Aaron Ramsey and Laurent Koscielny are both available for Arsenal’s trip to Liverpool, though Mohamed Elneny has been ruled out for three weeks with an ankle complaint. Arsene Wenger has suggested that Mesut Ozil “should be okay” after being sent home from training due to illness on Wednesday.

Andy Carroll is back in training ahead of West Ham’s match with Chelsea on Monday, with Slaven Bilic “very optimistic” on the target man’s availability. Michail Antonio serves a one-match ban after being dismissed away to Watford last time out.

Simon Francis has failed to recover from a hamstring complaint in time for Bournemouth’s trip to Man United, though there’s better news in attack for the Cherries, with Jordon Ibe passed fit.

Tony Pulis conceded that West Brom are “still waiting” on the fitness of Matt Phillips, though the winger is expected to return to training today. Craig Dawson is available after being forced off with a head knock last weekend.

Lazar Markovic is expected to be fit for Hull’s trip to Leicester City, though fellow new arrival Evandro remains sidelined. Dieumerci Mbokani is out for six weeks with a hamstring complaint sustained against Burnley last week, though Marco Silva reckons that Harry Maguire “should be okay” after sustaining a knee problem in the Clarets’ encounter.

Mauro Zarate is ruled out for the rest of the season with the knee injury that forced him off against West Ham last weekend. Costel Pantilimon and Daryl Janmaat are set to be assessed, though Nordin Amrabat, Christian Kabasele and Ben Watson are sidelined through injury.

Xherdan Shaqiri remains a big doubt for Stoke’s double Gameweek, with Mark Hughes admitting that the Swiss international is more likely to be available next week. Jon Walters is back in contention ahead of clashes with Middlesbrough and Man City.

George Friend and Antonio Barragan are both back in training and expected to be available for ‘Boro’s trip to the bet365 but Calum Chambers remains ruled out.

Jefferson Montero has returned to training but remains sidelined along with Ki Sung-Yeung for Swansea’s clash with Burnley. Johan Berg Gudmundsson and Steven Defour are still unavailable for the Clarets, though the latter is now back in training. Ashley Barnes serves a one-match suspension but Jeff Hendrick returns from a three-match suspension.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Hi all, if Phillips does not play then I only have 10 players, therefore for a hit would you do:
    A: Amat to Olsson
B: Amat to Naughton (can't stretch to Mawson)
C: Don't take the hit and hope Phillips plays
Effectively I would get zero points for this position this week if Phillips does not make it and will definately get zero points next week, so with (BUR,hul) think there is a decent chance of getting the -4 back.

Hi all, taken 1 hit already..any need for another? Have 1.4m itb

    Grant --- heaton
Valencia mcauly holebas -- Coleman Robertson
Mane Barkley Philips sterling -- fletcher
    Ibra kun kaku

Currently have 9 players for gw28(assuming Philips is fit by then)
    A: holebas >> stones (-4)
B: fletcher >> Allen (-4) and bench Philips
C: gtg...and might start coleman ahead of Philips..still debating

Really tempted by A...don't see any downside unless stones is rotated. Holebas is a yc magnet but to be fair they have great home fixtures so works well in my rotation

I'd say the WC was a bold move this early, but if it was carnage then probably worth it. Your team is good, you could make 100k, but 250k may be more achievable. How many points off 100k are you?

127 points from the top 100k, so that's about 10 points per week required. Sounds a lot, but a well played BB and TC could work I guess.

No Ibra on your WC? Bumper game mate. I'd drop one of Firmino-Mane, though I have both. You won't want both come GW29 anyway. I played around with my WC and had Caballero over Grant. Also, get Bailly instead of Brunt. Look at 8-9 for GW28 and you'll be well set.

Tbh honest, you're gonna regret that when the doubles come around. Brunt and Baines are the wrong guys. You've got 11 in 28 but you don't stand to gain massive ground. Come 29, you'll be in trouble with that team without multiple hits
