After United saw off Middlesbrough at the Riverside, we now make our way to White Hart Lane as Tottenham Hotspur entertain Southampton in the 2.15pm kick-off.

Devoid of the injured Harry Kane, Mauricio Pochettino has turned to Son Heung-Min to lead the line after the South Korean racked up three goals and an assist in last Sunday’s 6-0 FA Cup thrashing of Millwall.

Snapped up by over 132,000 Fantasy Premier League managers ahead of yesterday’s deadline, Dele Alli is the most captained player from this one – 1.5% have handed him the armband on the back of ten goals in the last 11 Gameweeks.

With five double-figure hauls in his last eight home outings, though, Christian Eriksen looks just as vital if the home side are to prevail without their star striker.

With the Saints set to play 11 times in the remaining nine Gameweeks, today’s match gives us an early scouting opportunity.

Up top, Manolo Gabbiadini is a man in demand after firing six goals in four appearances across all competitions since arriving in the winter transfer window.

Despite facing two blanks in the last three Gameweeks, the Italian has still risen 0.4 in price ahead of back-to-back home clashes with Bournemouth and Crystal Palace.

The new striker’s arrival has allowed Dusan Tadic and Nathan Redmond to flourish since Claude Puel switched to a 4-2-3-1 formation, with the pair providing 22 and 17 points respectively over their last two league appearances.

I'm just amazed that so many on here put that Valencia goal down to just luck.

I don't know how many have run a football team of any note, either junior or adult, but keeping the keeper under pressure is absolutely bread and butter coaching, They make mistakes under pressure, they just do.....even at Valdes's level (Bravo!!)

It's something that's repeated and encouraged over and over again ay every level.

I don't think many of us were being rational when complaining about a player we don't own scoring in injury time.

Unless you have the foresight that Valencia would play wing back, and you thought he'd score for the first time in years, AND on the back of a Valdes horror show.

Let's face it, him scoring is luck.

Come to one of out training sessions or team talks and the see if you think it's luck...Or any team talk. Valencia did exactly what he knows to do as a pro.

I guarantee you that every week we speak about creating you own luck by pressuring players into mistakes.

          It's not luck.

I do get your point Wakey but considering the game situation it made no sense. Why would a right back in the second last minute of injury time chase the opposing keeper down, when defending a one goal lead?

You have to understand it was a bit of a kick in the dick for non Valencia owners / Abu's.. of course it was lucky but i agree with your point.. the mistake isn't made without Valencia applying pressure on the keeper..

Nonsense. Valencia did do his job well but the goal would never of occurred if Valdes didn't make a huge, rare, individual error... these event are difficult to predict from an FPL perspective like red cards and penalty saves. The distinction is we aren't calling Valencia lucky we're calling Valencia-OWNERS lucky as they got rewarded by such an unlikely, unpredictable scenario... it's pretty cut and dry to me.

Here's the goal for those who missed it: https://u.nya.is/amlopi.mp4

We have the top goalscorer in all three leagues at Lancashire U16's (High) level. He's fantastic. He's scored plenty of goals this season by never giving up the chase and pressuring keepers.

When I see him on Tuesday I'll guarantee he won't think Valencia's goal was "luck"...far from it.

What Valencia did is exactly what Suarez and Sanchez do when they pressure the opposition into mistakes (best in the world at it).

It wasn't luck in my book...it was forcing the game and he got the rewards for it...

Valencia doing his job isn't lucky or unlucky but Valdes slipping is. Valencia owners got very lucky, it's that simple

I'm 90% gonna WC during the international break. Thoughts are appreciated:
      Hennessey; de Gea
      Cédric; Valencia; Walker; Alonso; Sakho
      Son; King; Sterling; Tadic; Hazard
      Gabbiadini; Costa; Vardy

The plan is to keep a full compliment of DGWers swapping for form/availability as required.
      Costa will become Ibra
Arsenal have my head wrecked - I'll use FTs closer to their DGW maybe for short-term defenders or punts on iwobi/ giroud
Is no liverpool a major issue???

      Thanks
