Expelled and evicted from the Scout Hut, the show must go on as I host this week’s Cast from the in-laws, their best china providing the backdrop to our Fantasy Football chatterings.

While building work gets underway back home, we consider the reconstruction required on our line-ups ahead of Gameweek 30 following the cruel injury to Seamus Coleman.

Assessment of the likely replacements dominates the opening section, before we embark on another round of community questions, as we scan Manchester United’s packed schedule, flirt with Leicester City assets and vote on when to move for Alexis Sanchez.

Transfer hits also bookend this episode, as we begin the show with a conservative approach to the weekend, only to end with talk of eight points aplenty.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link or the first player below, or take in the full visual experience, plates and all, via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Hi all

Most of my team are playing against each other.

Do you think I'm good to go or can anyone suggest anything?

    Pickford
    Valencia Brunt Holebas
    Sanchez Mane Firmino Siggy(C)
    Defoe Lukaku(V) Carrol

    (Grant Barry Robertson Amat)

    3.4ITB

Have used my FT for Coleman > Valencia

    Any help would be great!

Nothing that's worth a hit I don't think. Carroll to Deeney could be tempting, or Brunt to Bertrand or Walker, but I wouldn't say they are pressing.

Giving Carroll another chance, West Ham can be alright on the road. Thanks for the advice JJ.

I agree! Carroll has 4 good fixtures coming up. The only thing I don't like is Antonio being out as West Ham seriously lack pace then

Planning next few transfers. Which is the better front 8 of these two options?

    Playing a 3-5-2:
    Sanchez, Mane, Alli, Sigurdsson, KING
    Ibrahimovic, Lukaku (Barnes)

    Playing a 3-4-3:
    Sanchez, Mane, Alli, Sigurdsson (Carroll)
    Ibrahimovic, Lukaku, DEENEY / GABBIADINI

Evening all...interesting FPL show tonight. We had some footage of Chelsea's open training session. Hazard took part but, from the footage, he was definitely not getting involved to the same level as the rest - including Costa and Courtois. Very interested to hear Conte tomorrow on him.

If confirmed, would Hazard's potential absence be a factor against captaining Costa, do you think?

Maybe. Palace might be a tough nut to crack if Hazard isn't risked. Interesting to see Conte's reaction when quizzed on the injuries tomorrow.

@Mark - Armband still on siggy?

@darth - On the contrary, Costa on pens then.

        Good point on pens.

Dunno on captaincy - tempted to leave it on Siggy but also still weighing up Sanchez and Lukaku. Very tough decision. Even if I had Vardy and/or Costa, I'd still be torn I think.

Costa missed the last pen he took. Chelsea definitely less dangerous without Hazard.

They have to get a penalty though, and Hazard is their most creative player - they need him against a packed defence.

I'd probably gamble on Tadic. Just wonder if Moses is out, whether Pedro will get played at wing-back. Also just fancy Tadic with the doubles and his two home fixtures.

This set of transfers for -8?

    Coleman --> Stephens / Britos

I was debating that but today's noise on Rose swayed me. I'm going Davies just to see what the extra funds will get me later. Davies' numbers are impressive and wing-backs will likely oust Toby for bonus. I still think he has a goal or two in him, though.

This is what I'm worried about. Toby A is more likely than not to get 3 to 4 goals this season and they could all come in relatively quick succession.

It does look like Rose has a niggling Philips/Butland/Baines-type injury which has legs, though.

    Pickford
    Alonso Valencia Davies
    Mane Alli Eriksen Sigurdsson
    Aguero Lukaku Llorente

    (Heaton TCarroll Pieters ASmith)

Which Sanchez plan? Need to sell Aguero or Mané for funds (unless anyone can see anything else?). ML rivals are all bringing in Vardy for kun...I'm marginally ahead ATM.

    A
    GW30 Aguero (ars) > Vardy(c)
    GW31 Siggy (TOT) > Sanchez

    B
    GW30 --
    GW31 Mane (BOU) > Sanchez +
    1. Llorente > Negredo
    2. A Smith > 4.3
    3. Heaton > Valdes

Once Antonio and Sahko are back (imminent), it looks quite congested - you see Snoddy starting, Doos?

Carroll, Ayew, Lanzini, Antonio, Snoddy, Feghouli, Sahko

Very split ideology on here about the benefits of a WC sooner rather than later.

My team isn't in great shape, and I'm starting to think that a WC this week to sort things out will have more benefits than pursuing the GW36 WC then GW37 BB. I'd say an early WC could potentially yield 100+ points over the rest of the season, whereas the 36/37 strategy mean she probably 5-6 additional DGW'ers.

Also allows me a 37 TC, which I quite fancy.

    Thoughts?

Sounds like an early WC could be the best thing for you. I'm keeping mine until 35/36 but my team is in good shape atm.

Yeah it depends on the state of your current squad and whether you can use transfers now to move towards GW34 double assets. If you've too many fires to put out, then it could make sense to go early.

Personally, I still look at a few hits as a first option - because the doubles present a potential payback- but then I haven't seen how many it would take to fix your set-up.

    4. Lord.

Hard to say without visibility of the fires you need to put out. I agree an earlier WC can be a good move, but with more knowledge (ie when the remaining fixtures are announced on 7 Apr), you can plan over the whole period whilst still looking to exploit DGWs.
