Expelled and evicted from the Scout Hut, the show must go on as I host this week’s Cast from the in-laws, their best china providing the backdrop to our Fantasy Football chatterings.

While building work gets underway back home, we consider the reconstruction required on our line-ups ahead of Gameweek 30 following the cruel injury to Seamus Coleman.

Assessment of the likely replacements dominates the opening section, before we embark on another round of community questions, as we scan Manchester United’s packed schedule, flirt with Leicester City assets and vote on when to move for Alexis Sanchez.

Transfer hits also bookend this episode, as we begin the show with a conservative approach to the weekend, only to end with talk of eight points aplenty.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link or the first player below, or take in the full visual experience, plates and all, via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Dont think doubling up on spurs defenders is a bad idea! Great run of fixtures as long as u dont fancy alli and u have wc

Coleman -94.5% on FFFix, -101.2% on fplstats. Should I just hope he doesn't fall?

Haven't bothered with FPL all week so got no idea who are the front runners. Feeling like a casual. Someone just mentioned Rose might not be back until end of April so that throws Davies' name in the hat.

He should fall. Many replacements. Anything from Spurs (Davies currently the favourite if you still have WC) and Valencia are the clear go-tos. Then you have Bertrand, Fuchs, Gibson...pick your poison.

    Hi guys

Any obvious changes required? Currently on a -4

    Pickford - (jaku)
    Azpi - valencia - bertrand - (fabio) - (love)
    Alli - eriksen - mane - siggy - (carroll)
    Aguero - lukaku - vardy

    Thanks!

Thoughts on this set of transfers for -8? Might not work out, but has high potential I think. Needs to be done before Coleman falls this evening.

Coleman --> Stephens / Britos [still need to decide]
    Antonio --> Sánchez
    Aguero --> Vardy

    Heaton, Pickford
    Alonso, *Coleman, Baines, McAuley, Amat
    Mané, Alli, Coutinho, *Antonio, Carroll
    *Aguero, Lukaku, Llorente

Has there been any analysis on how Davies compares to Walker/Rose when playing? Obviously very cheap but how does his attacking stats compare.

A link would be great if the has been any analysis.

Is there a stand out captain choice? These are my better players

    Alexis

No stand out choice. Sánchez the safest bet for some kind of attacking return, however probably not explosive since he is playing City.

Actually stumped as to what to do with the below. 1FT 1.9ITB

    Foster - Jaku
Baines - Holebas - Funes Mori* - Alonso - Amat
    King - Alexis - Coutinho - Mane - Siggy
    Rondon - Gabby* - Lukaku

Defence is an absolute mess so may play AOA chip this GW.

    Lukaku Llorente Defoe

Yeah, you can stomach a hit failing if the player doesn't return but if the player you would have played comes in with points, it's very painful.

Needs more context... it depends who you'd be playing him instead of this week. (-4) has the same value regardless of which GW you take it in come the end of the season.

But who would you be playing instead of Alli this week? 😆

Surely not de Roon. If so I'd pull the trigger on both transfers now. Both Rudy G and Alli have better fixtures this week and if you're going to make the transfers anyway you might as well claim the advantage now

I've had him since GW22, four clean sheets in eight matches isn't too bad. But I agree that in terms of attacking returns he's no longer much of a prospect. A shame Everton haven't had a penalty during that period.

Klopp has a 33% win percentage in the early-kick offs... wonder why...
Kick off times shouldn't really have an effect but always feels different.

Opponents might be a factor too.

      1. Lawrø
        • 14 Years
        9 years, 7 days ago

Also sample size. How many early kick offs has he had? 😆

33% suggests probably a multiple of three and it will be small so it's almost certainly three. So Klopp has won 1/3 out of his early kick offs is clearly less impressive.

15, I'd speculate that it includes his time before Liverpool or early kick-offs on Sunday too. Still 15 is not large.

no it's not. just found it interesting! still, i do always feel early kick offs could go anywhere - not based on any facts tho!

Having a look at the schedule it's probably the latter. Although maybe still a bit short, I wonder if they include 7:45pm kick offs instead of 8pm and games played when there is only one game as early kick offs too...

Need to go for a differential in my ML this week and give them the arm band ideally, chasing 75 points and time is running out. Is choosing Deeney ahead of Vardy foolish ? Alt I could just play Llorente but rival has him and I'm sure they will stick this week. Keeping Llorente means a Mane captaincy for me, i know it shouldnt but that early Sat kick off is so off putting !

Doesn't feel right giving Llorente the arm band, would rather opt for Siggy if i was going to choose a player in that fixture. As for Deeney, i can see it being a decent match for him....cheers 🙂
