Expelled and evicted from the Scout Hut, the show must go on as I host this week’s Cast from the in-laws, their best china providing the backdrop to our Fantasy Football chatterings.

While building work gets underway back home, we consider the reconstruction required on our line-ups ahead of Gameweek 30 following the cruel injury to Seamus Coleman.

Assessment of the likely replacements dominates the opening section, before we embark on another round of community questions, as we scan Manchester United’s packed schedule, flirt with Leicester City assets and vote on when to move for Alexis Sanchez.

Transfer hits also bookend this episode, as we begin the show with a conservative approach to the weekend, only to end with talk of eight points aplenty.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link or the first player below, or take in the full visual experience, plates and all, via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Is there much to choose from between Stephens and Yoshida? Is one more under threat of losing their place? i know nothing about Soton

Martin Caceres is fit to play. One of them might lose his place

Saw the Van Dijk news and was keen on sticking with Stephens before i remembered about Cáceres. Tricky to decide who to get.

Speculation from a poster on a Saints forum re: 3 fixtures in the next week:

"Guessing that JWP/Davis/Clasie will be rotated, and possible the full backs. Boufal/Tadic also rotated. Would expect all Stephens/Caceres/Yoshida will play twice each."

Whose who are considering Southampton FC players, do you expect them to start every match? They are scheduled to play 6 matches in the next month.

    01 April: Bournemouth (H)
    05 April: Crystal Palace (H)
    08 April: West Brom (A)
    15 April: Man City (H)
    25 April: Chelsea (A)
    29 April: Hull (H)

The last time they had such a busy schedule was in December, where they played 6 league matches along with a Europa League tie. In that period (GW14-19), only three players started all 6 matches: Forster, van Dijk & Boufal. While the later one was subbed out in all but two matches.

Minutes of some Saints players over GW14-19 (cry, MID, stk, bou, TOT, WBA):

    Tadic: 0 + 45 + 25 + 29 + 19 +73
    JWP: 90 + 90 + 90 + 0 + 90 + 16
    Bertrand: 90 + 0 + 90 + 90 + 90 + 0
    Cedric: 90 + 0 + 0 + 90 + 90 + 0
    Yoshida: 0 + 0 + 0 + 90 + 0 + 90
    VVD: 90 + 90 + 90 + 90 + 90 + 88
    Fonte: 90 + 90 + 90 + 0 + 90 + 0

Be prepared to see some changes, especially in easy matches!

Someone with an uglier defence than mine?

    Jones - crock
    Coleman - 🙁
Baines - will be the only fit Everton defender at this rate
    Brunt - woeful fixtures

Waiting on Conte in the morning to tell that Alonso has put in a transfer request so that he can move to China.

Would you still get Valencia if already have 2 premium defs? (Walker & Alonso)

    Team:

    Heaton / Robinson
    Walker / Alonso / Coleman* / McAuley / Mawson
    Sanchez / Mane / Sterling / Sig / Carroll
    Lukaku / Vardy / Barnes

    £1.5m ITB

Thinking Coleman > Cedric, Sterling > Alli.

Could afford Valencia but I'm just wary of having Carroll and Barnes and needing some money ITB for future moves...

I can afford both and I'm going Davies for that reason. If you still have your WC I would.

Walker has no end product at all and Trippier can't half whip a ball.

    Aguero, Lukaku (Gabbiadini)

Aguero -> Ibra next week, then Sane & Coutinho for Zaha/Sanchez in following weeks.

I'm definitely pro Tadic with the set-pieces and pens. Both Redmond and JWP are good options if the savings can be spent wisely elsewhere but I'd say Tadic is worthy of the outlay.

Redmond just does not know how to score a goal he is too wasteful he does get himself into great positions but will just have to pass the ball to Tadic more when he gets there to finish the job

I don't think Puel will cut off his nose to spite his face. Tadic is their most creative player, so I'd bank on him playing.

Have wildcarded this week, and got a plan in place for the DGWs

    Valdes, Pickford
    Valencia, Vertonghen, Gibson, PVA, Stephens
    Sanchez, Alli, Mane, Zaha, JWP
    Vardy, Lukaku, Deeney

Minimum of 5 GW34 DGWers (plus Ibra likely to come in a couple of weeks time)
    Min 3 Southampton/Arsenal DGWers
Min 9 GW37 DGWers, likely to have 13 by then to bench boost.

    Any thoughts?
Main worries are around United/Southampton rotation and lack of Chelsea and City assets.

Depends on how set up you are to get Sanchez and Ibra back, i presume you're getting them in before your wildcard. If money is tight, then walker.

Now that there is a good chance that Rose will be out for another month i think Davies is the best value way into the Spurs defense

I don't think value is important now, it's about maximising points. However if getting Walker blocks you from getting other big hitters, then Davies is for sure the way to go.

Its been a few years since I've done one of these. But here goes.

    RMT

    Pickford
    Cahill Valencia Davies
    Sanchez Walcott Alli(c) Son Sigurdsson
    Costa Lukaku

    Subs: Yoshida Jones* Gabbiadini* Caballero

Looks GTG to me. No need for any transfers there really. I like the Alli (c) shout too - he seems to have slipped under the captaincy radar a bit with it being so open this week. Most seem to be looking at Agüero, Vardy, Mané and even Alonso.

Walcott probably wants to prove a point as well. Gametime is just as dodgy as Walcotts so that also cancels out.

Set pieces is a fair reason but is it enough to spend a transfer when there isn't a lot in it otherwise? Walcott certainly has better goal threat.
