A little later than usual, we look back on the previous round of fixtures after last night’s Manchester derby brought the curtain down on Double Gameweek 34.

As many of us prepare to unleash our second Wildcards, a number of big-hitters make a strong claim for our plans over the remaining four Gameweeks.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    Potential WC team

    Cabellero Pickford
    Alonso Daniels Gabriel Stephens Holgate
    Sanchez Hazard Erikson Sane King
    Kane Jesus Gabbiadini

Is Daniels worth it vs STO/BUR over Blind (rotation risk) ars/tot/sot?

Gabbiadini could be rested for at least half of the games between now and GW38, really considering Afobe but then triple Bournemouth?

Sanchez is the biggest issue, too much money tied up in an out of form, reverse out of position player. Downgrading to Ozil allows Gabriel -> Monreal and Jesus -> Vardy (GW36 - then switch back for GW37).

Get the feeling Blind could be quite steady now, but would stick with Daniels.

      I'd still go Gabby.

The problem is if Sanchez regains his form in any of these last 4 weeks then you've lost it purely based on ownership. If you're chasing take the risk, I'm personally keeping despite trailing by 30 points.

Not sure how long Rojo/Smalling are out for but i guess Blind may switch to fullback, all very dependant on Mourinho.

This is the worry, top 10k ownership of him will be huge so maybe just go as safety pick. Wont make any ground with him in your team though.

United's fixtures this DGW are a lot more difficult this time around, how long are Rojo/Smalling/Jones out for?

    Foster, Jaku
    Holebas, Walker, Gibson, Valencia, Pieters
    Sané, Zaha, Coutinho, Alli, King
    Negredo, Lukaku, Kane

    Negredo -->
    A) Defoe
    B) Costa
    C) Gabbiadini

    Gonna WC in 36.

      Im liking Daniels more myself.

Very nice front 8, being able to squeeze in a 4th heavy hitter instead of Sane is great.

Prefer Jesus to Costa, need City attack. Either that or Coutino to Sane and then commit to Costa later.

Which troika to gain 30 points in ML?:

    A) Cech - Darmian - Sane
    B) Cech - Kompany - Herrera
    C) Caballero - Blind - Sane
    D) Caballero - Kompany - Walcott/Pedro

Edging towards B or D as I already have Valencia, but I feel like Sane is the better choice of mid-priced mids.

    Rest of team:

    Pickford - *****
    Valencia - Vertonghen - Yoshida - Stephens - *****
    Sanchez - Hazard - Alli - **** - JWP
    Aguero - Kane - Anichebe

      C for me.

Definitely not A as Darmian will be rotated, not B or D as Kompany will get injured and again Walcott/Pedro will be rotated.

I've also got to be bonkers to transfer out a midfielder averaging 6.2 ppg!

Well, it's Lukaku or Jesus, so I think I will be making the move early. Just not giving him the armband.

Alternatively, it's a -4 to do Lukaku and Alli > Kane and Sané.

I'd stick with Alli in your case, at least until WC.

Im tempted by Lukaku out this week, just fearful because of his ownership if he scores against a leaky Chelsea.

        Cant afford JWP tbh.
Jesus is the risk in team. However, with City's DGW in 37, bringing him in now will allow me to downgrade to Rashford if need be, thus granting me Romeu to someone else for the BB or King to Sane. Decent thinking?

          Rashford isn't nailed either...

Are you happy going without Kane? I'd be looking to get him in for Jesus, probably downgrading a defender to do so.

        Yes.

I'm trying to decide what's best. But people don't ten to respond much to questions like:

        A) Kun > Jesus/Gabbi
        B) Siggy > Sane/Arnie/King (bench JWP)
        C) Eriksen > Sane/Arnie/King

For me there are enough question marks over Kun and Eriksen to lump them into agroup with JWP with agood fixture. Kun could be benched. Eriksen plays Arsenal, which isn't a nightmare, but it's plausible that Arsenal have built up their defense in training in the new system, and could finally be prioritising that since they're not clicking going fowrwad, so JWP could feasably be a better option than Eriksen for this week only, especially since Spurs don't always look like the scoring machine we imagine them to be.

I'm concerned about Aguero being dropped for Jesus. Unlikely but I'm a worry guts at this stage of the season.

    my front 8:

    Sanchez Alli Pedro Tadi(C) JWP
    Kane Costa Rashford

I'm benching Pedro from my attacking 8

would you do Pedro + Alli > Haz + King (-4) and bench Rashford?

Why are you/people getting rid of Alli?

I'm not convinced by the move, so looking for other peoples view.
With Pedro and Rashford both not guaranteed a start this GW I'm looking for a way of getting more nailed players in my starting 11.
My original plan was to roll and go in 36 with 2FT coz I don't have a WC.

Bottomed on the page before, reposting...

Hits clearly are working well for me this season. The three transfers I made with DDG, Bailly & Benteke - all double figures.
I have no WC left and used my free transfer for Zaha -> King transfer.
Now, I am contemplating to do Lukaku -> Jesus move.
Lukaku was very nice to my fantasy team and clearly is a top-scorer. But Everton has no double fixtures in the last 4 and face CHE & ars.
Jesus on other hand has full trust from Pep and even if he starts alongside with Aguero or comes off the bench he might score.
If he starts and plays all 90 minutes its possibly double figures.
    What do you think, chaps?

I would also be tempted, but I would be more likely to stick with Lukaku to lessen the risk

Do we think this will help fire up Spurs? Last time playing Arsenal at White Hart Lane, a win putting them mathematically above them at the end of the season.

I think both teams have a lot riding on this, and Spurs will have the home advantage. Pretty much expect a Spurs win, but you can never predict a derby result.

I wish I had my wildcard still. Have tried to plan ahead and really don't know what to do with my last two transfers before week 37. The plan is to tc in week 36 and bb in week 37. Am leading mini league by 15 points and head to head league by one. I guess I could risk one or two transfer hits. Team is:
    Jakupovich / Randolph
    Davis / Baines / Valencia / Yoshida / Chambers.
    Hazard / Sanchez / Son / King / Albrighton.
Gabbiadini / Kane / Costa. I have 2,2 in the bank. Am thinking a - 4 to get Eriksen for Son and Gabriel for Chambers after kick off tomorrow. Randolph to Pickford next week. Any thoughts would be much appreciated thank you 🙂

Valencia to Monreal no need for a hit imo

Thank you very much. Valencia is a headache because of the Europa League. My transfers are precious so am loath to transfer out players with potential doubles but you are right. If they get a clean sheet against spurs I'll cry from having captained Kane and take the hit to get Monreal. With all their injuries he should be pretty nailed on

I'd used my wc to stock up dg players if I still had it. I'd swap Zaha, ranocchia, holgate and Lukaku. say Costa for Lukaku and Zaha to albrighton. Gives you a bit to swap ranocchia and holgate maybe. Hazard is a must af the Everton game I think.
