Coming down off the “excitement” of a double Gameweek, the latest programme of fixtures get off to a rather inauspicious start. The batch of four afternoon kick-offs appear very light on Fantasy interest.

Nonetheless, many will doubtless be monitoring Bournemouth’s visit to the Stadium of Light, with Josh King the undoubted star asset on show. With three goals in his last four Gameweeks and with 11 in his last 13 starts overall, the 6.1 midfielder will be heavily backed for another return against Sunderland. King was brought in by more than 100,000 FPL managers ahead of today’s encounter.

Similary, Southampton’s performance against Hull City will also be of keen interest, with Fantasy managers preparing Saints investment ahead of their double Gameweek 36. Striker Manolo Gabbiadini topped our captain poll and has been acquired by 160,000+ FPL managers heading into today’s transfer deadline.

Elsewhere, Stoke City take on West Ham at the bet365.com, while West Brom host Leicester City, with little on show to pique the interest from a Fantasy perspective.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I took a -12p hit this GW. I used my WC earlier.

Out: Valdes, Mustafi, Gibson and Negredo
In: Caballero, Kompany, Cedric and Gabbiadini

    Thoughts?

Have Yoshida from before. I realize now that 2 Sutton defenders in probably not a good move. I did some research on Company and he should be fine now.

Really confused by all the JWP love.
Isn't he a def mid? Aren't Albrighton/King etc way better options? He ain't no de Roon in my eyes

Well he isnt a dm more a cm - he has a superb delivery, occasional set pieces, and his goals in him. A better play than De Roon.

But King is certainly a better pick and I like Albrighton too

Ha, he's exactly that - defensive midfielder who could always fluke a goal here like de Roon, or get an assist from a set piece.

If you think he is like De Roon, then try comparing them using the tool.

You've clearly not watched him play much.

Yeah good point - not scoring in the first half of a match makes him an awful player.

            7 starts for Southampton - 6 goals.

Would make sense as you tend now to get the big 6 teams playing at 3pm kickoffs very often and this time of year lots of teams scared of conceding in releagtion battles

Good strategy to just get in players who will rise in price tonight and then get the team you want?

If you are on WC would you take any player without dgw?

Liverpool mids, Hull and Burnley defenders as they have nice home fixtures, even that King (I never owned him) all have good chance for a lot of points until the end.

Kings a must great form and fixtures at a budget price, I also included Coutinho in my GW35 WC team, but plan to switch to Sane for DGW37.
