Dugout Discussion – Swansea vs Everton

The day’s events conclude at the Liberty Stadium with Swansea City bidding to claim a vital three points against Everton having seen their relegation rivals slump to defeats.

From a Fantasy perspective, the main focus will be Gylfi Sigurdsson for the home side, with the Icelander having ended a run of five Gameweeks without points with a goal and an assist in his last two outings.

Sigurdsson heads into this match as part of 10.9% of Fantasy Premier League squads, having suffered a minor ownership loss this week. Involved in 53% of the Swans goals this season, with Paul Clement’s side surely buoyed by today’s earlier results, we will be expecting Sigurdsson to maintain his recent upturn.

For Everton, Romelu Lukaku is still part of 40.8% of FPL line-ups despite suffering a heavy loss of 153,000+ owners ahead of today’s game. The Belgian has scored just a single goal in his last eight away trips.

      I'm considering it. Kane doesn't go too many games without a goal. He's better at home but he probably has the potential to score higher than any other player in th game at the moment.

                  Ah ok, got ya. Yeah, very likely to go that way.

                  I'm sure we'll see Zouma replace Dave for one game at least, and maybe even Cahill misses one. For the money, I think Ake is worth a risk for people willing to take a punt.

              He can play as one of the 3 CB and Wing-back so he's probably a better pick than Luiz.

          I'd try and have either of the following combinations. 2 x def could work, but I think'll Chelsea will open up and go for goals once the league is wrapped up. Sunderland in GW38 could be carnage.

          But doesn't an Arsenal player like Cech, Alexis, Ozil almost guarantee you 4 points before any returns? Quite a low ceiling on Alonso unless you expect him to score too.

          I think they'll all get pitch time after the Boro game; Willian, Pedro, Fabregas.

          Expect to see something like Matic and Fabregas vs Boro, with Ngolo given a rest (doesn't he have a knock?).

        Worry about losing Kane but I have Eriksen for cover and Chelsea fixtures are pretty nice.

              Yes, but it could hurt big time. Palace against Hull at home? You have to bet on Benteke getting something from that game. United also have 2 games to play before they face Spurs so we could see Kane and Spurs rebound from that defeat.

              I can't persuade you not to as I also have Costa and Jesus; I think they're the best picks for the remaining GWs. Go with your gut.
