Gameweek 36 finally comes to an end this evening as Southampton entertain Arsenal at St Mary’s.

Alexis Sanchez will again be the focus of most managers’ attentions. Sitting in over 27% of FPL squads, the Chilean was the most captained player (11.2%) in the round of fixtures but a blank at home to Man United in his first match of Double Gameweek 36 means he has now netted just once in seven league appearances.

Meanwhile, his team-mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looks to add to a pair of assists in the 2-0 weekend win over Jose Mourinho’s side. The Gunners’ wing-back has been drafted in by over 15,000 FPL managers this week for a Double Gameweek 37 against Stoke and Sunderland.

For the Saints, Manolo Gabbiadini was the fourth most transferred in player ahead of last week’s deadline, with over 108,000 taking the plunge.

Yet a blank against Liverpool took his run to one assist in five, as Claude Puel’s defence racked up the points at Anfield instead thanks to a fourth clean sheet in seven.

Thanks to his spot-kick stop away to Liverpool, the Saints’ Fraser Forster leads the way among the Double Gameweek contingent on 16 points ahead of tonight’s 7.45pm encounter.

    Captaining a goalkeeper is getting increasingly tempting given that I own Willy and Cech. Although Sanchez slightly more appealing now. News of an extended injury break for Kun would hand it to Jesus though I think.

              I'm taking extra point per goal, cs into account. And the fact that Watford are crap.

            If he was guaranteed those mins I would myself. With the FA cup final though if the league is won I'm unsure if he will even get half that versus Watford.

        Have him, also an option. I'll probably play it safe with Haz/Kane/Sanch/Jesus but it is tempting to go for a Cech or Alonso type as a differential. Had a poor season, looking to claw back around 35 points on those above me in GW37.

      I just have a feeling that Jesus is going to go wild after they scored 5goals and none by him. That would have annoyed him for sure.

      It's between him and Sanchez for the armband for me. Can't believe he's not being considered. You don't win 9 on the bounce and suddenly turn bad after one game. Last game at WHL.. Kane hatrick?!

      Evening all,

      Fairly happy with my 90 and BB to come this week.

      Thinking of doing Kos - Gibbs and Ali - KDB for -4. Would give me:

      Cech, Cab
      Yosh, Gibbs, Alonso, Stephens, Davies.
      KDB, Hazzard, Sanchez, King, Pedro.
      Kane, Jesus, Anichibe

      GTG?
      Only other concern is Davies. Could do -8 for a £5m or keep and hope Rose isn't fit?

        Still a good score, looks like i'm going to be on a round 100, thanks to Sanchez TC. Of my 36 captains so far this season only Kuka in GW24 outscored Sanchez 14 this GW.
