Gameweek 36 finally comes to an end this evening as Southampton entertain Arsenal at St Mary’s.

Alexis Sanchez will again be the focus of most managers’ attentions. Sitting in over 27% of FPL squads, the Chilean was the most captained player (11.2%) in the round of fixtures but a blank at home to Man United in his first match of Double Gameweek 36 means he has now netted just once in seven league appearances.

Meanwhile, his team-mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looks to add to a pair of assists in the 2-0 weekend win over Jose Mourinho’s side. The Gunners’ wing-back has been drafted in by over 15,000 FPL managers this week for a Double Gameweek 37 against Stoke and Sunderland.

For the Saints, Manolo Gabbiadini was the fourth most transferred in player ahead of last week’s deadline, with over 108,000 taking the plunge.

Yet a blank against Liverpool took his run to one assist in five, as Claude Puel’s defence racked up the points at Anfield instead thanks to a fourth clean sheet in seven.

Thanks to his spot-kick stop away to Liverpool, the Saints’ Fraser Forster leads the way among the Double Gameweek contingent on 16 points ahead of tonight’s 7.45pm encounter.

      Ya hits are a bit crazy for the bench boost. Kind of negates alot of what people are hoping to gain from it.

      Thinking of a strategy for next seaon

      Over the 1st 3 weeks, take some hits, as late as possible and BB the following week. Save a free heading into bench boost and have 2fts to re shuffle funds afterwards. Just take a punt on 2 or 3 in form teams with a good fixture and load up and bench boost.

      2nd WC won't be so focuses on spreading funds and taking hits for bench players you're only getting 2 games out of (if they start both that is)

      Same. I deliberately used it earlier to not have it as a distraction for this GW. I don't want to take hits or ruin my team for having a great bench. That said, I absolutely failed it. And my AOA too. Let's hope the TC serves me better.

    Goooooooooooooooooooooooooood morning all!

    Loving the wildcard so far - 89 points, 4th highest GW rank of the season and up from 35k to 19k.

    Only mistake on the wildcard was punting on Tadic instead of just bringing in Sane straight away - now means I have to make the transfer this week leaving me with just 1 FT in GW38 which isn't ideal.

      89 points even with Koscielny over Monreal and playing Maguire instead of either Stephens or Albrighton. Could have been my first 100+ score of the season. 🙁

      Won't complain though. 3800 overall. An outside chance of making the top 1k, although I need some luck as it's 42 points to catch (and 2800 managers).

    Sanchez the best captaincy pick now? I feel he's pretty much guaranteed to play 180 minutes. Not sure if I can take the fear of Hazard and Costa not playing both, same with Jesus really. Also own Alli and Eriksen.
