Two Gameweeks has passed since the last article and it’s been another two weeks with a low average score. The upcoming Gameweek is the last one before an international break. Also, be wary of the cup games today and tomorrow, injuries could be on the cards.

FFSCOUT LEAGUE STANDINGS

On top of the FFS League we find Bøllefrø with a total score of 539 points. Right behind him Våtisenga, Hellerud Homeboys and Rossbach 2 TheFuture are chasing with 537 points.

There are 44 teams that’s 30 points or less behind Bøllefrø, so it’s still very open.

In the head-to-head league Dutch Warriors are still leading with an impressive 10 victories out of 11.

STOCK CHECK

RISING
Andreas Lie (5.1)
His stock continues to climb after 10 points in the previous two matches. A clean sheet and four saves against Sandefjord, before he had five saves and bonus points against Brann away. With good fixtures coming up it’s difficult to look elsewhere.

Sigurd Rosted (5.9)
After putting him as a faller in my last article, he has since bounced back with 15 and nine points in the previous two Gameweeks. Six bonus points, two clean sheets and one goal scored in those two games. Sarpsborg are now looking like the team we expected them to be, scoring less and keeping more clean sheets.

Amin Nouri (5.5)
He’s been very much overlooked due to Rolantsson doing well. From his right-back position, he’s been very attacking lately and has picked up three assist in the previous four Gameweeks. Last time out he gained two bonus points as well. Brann only kept one clean sheet in that period. He’s worth keeping an eye on, especially if Rolantsson stops delivering and continues to be subbed before 60 minutes.

Eirik Ulland Andersen (7.9)
He’s been the standout performer over the past few weeks. After starting the season with an injury, he’s now started the last five games. In those five matches he’s scored 40 points, scoring three goals and assisting three. He’s on most set pieces, and also capable of scoring direct from free kicks. Not the best fixtures coming up though, with Rosenborg and Vålerenga away in the next two.

Edwin Gyasi (7.4)
Mentioned as a differential in the last article, he’s now scored in three games in a row and picked up three bonus points. Aalesund are currently looking like a decent team and with good fixtures coming up, there’s no denying he’s a good pick.

Samuel Adegbenro (7.3)
Another one mentioned as a faller in my last article. Against Stabæ he picked up two bonus points, before he scored, assisted and picked up another bonus point in a 4-2 loss against Strømsgodset. Viking appear doomed at the moment, but he’s head and shoulders above the other players currently. With home games against Kristiansund and Haugesund coming up, as well as an away game against Lillestrøm, it might be time to fetch him back in.

Erling Knudtzon (7.7)
It might seem to be a knee-jerk to include a player that scored 25 points in the first 10 Gameweeks, but his hat-trick and 20-point haul against Tromsø puts him back on our radar. Having started the first nine Gameweeks as a right midfielder, he’s been playing up front along with another out of position midfielder Udoji in a 4-4-2 in the last two Gameweeks. Against Tromsø he was able to use his blistering pace against a naive and high defensive line, so I won’t be expecting similar hauls every week. The out of position appeal is tempting and puts him on our radar.

Erik Huseklepp (8.3)
Another midfielder playing as a striker. He’s started a few matches up front this year, and in the previous two matches he’s scored 10 points (one assist and two bonus points). Huseklepp are struggling for goals at the moment, but there are definitely potential here. One to keep an eye on.

Mos (8.9)
If there are any essential players at the moment, I’d say it’s Mos. In a game full of unreliable players, Mos has scored a goal in seven out of 11 Gameweeks. With some luck he could have scored against Brann last Gameweek as well. He’s yet to score a double-digit haul, but that might change with a bunch of good fixtures coming up.

Bjørn Bergman Sigurdarson (9.6)
As with Mos, he’s one of few strikers currently scoring well. He’s scored two goals in the previous three, as well as picking up three bonus points. In my opinion, he’s been quite unlucky to not get bigger hauls so far, so this is definitely a player you would want in your team.

Fallers

Piotr Leciejewski (5.5)
We all expected better from him. A keeper who many regarded as the best in Eliteserien before this season has now been personally at fault for  quite a few goals Brann has conceded. One clean sheet in the previous six is is way less than expected.

Vegard Eggen Hedenstad (6.7)
The most expensive defender in the game, except for Rolantsson. In the previous seven Gameweeks, he’s blanked six times – a major disappointment. Good fixtures are on the horizon, so this might change going forward.

Gili Rolantsson (7.0)After an amazing spell, he’s now blanked in three of the last four games. He’s been withdrawn before 60 minutes on two occasions. He’s still a good option playing as a left winger, but certainly not as essential as he was before.

Pål Andre Helland (10.9)
The most expensive midfielder in the game. As with Hedenstad he’s blanked in six of the last seven games. Rosenborg doesn’t look good going forward and he looks like a shadow of himself. He’s just not justifying his price tag at the moment.

Nicklas Bendtner (12.3)
I have to admit he’s been looking better lately, but it’s not enough to justify owning the most expensive man in the game. Scoring just a single goal in the last five fails to meet our expectations. Now he’s suspended for Rosenborg’s next game after picking up his third yellow of the season

DIFFERENTIALS FOR GAMEWEEK 12

Erling Knudtzon (7.7)
Although it’s not the best fixture, I’d back him to do well continuing in his striker role against Stabæk away. 4.6% ownership.

Matthias Vilhjalmson (8.2)
The most likely replacement for Bendtner. He’s looked dangerous whenever he’s played this season, both as a midfielder and as a striker. I’d back him to do well this Gameweek. He’s a really short term option, but with 1.8% ownership he could make a massive difference.

Eirik Schulze (5.0)Most people think of Koomson whenever we talk about Sogndal’s attack, but this guy has been doing very well lately. As with Gyasi, he’s now scored in three straight games and also assisted a goal. He probably won’t keep on scoring at that rate, but I’d back him to do well against Sandefjord at home. 1.1% ownership.

I’d also back previous differentials.Luc Kassi (6.0), Aaron Sigurdarson (6.3)and Edwin Gyasi (7.4) to do well this Gameweek.

    Nice work, man! Great!

Got two transfer options this week
    A) Fernandes -> Dyngeland (finally a chance to get rid of him
    B) Midtsjø -> Schultze for a punt

    Leciejewski
    Hedenstad Lundström Ruud
    E.U.Andersen Midtsjø Kassi Haugen
    Sigurdarson Mos Mortensen

    Fernandes Moe Braaten Ryerson

Dyngeland and Leciejewski have a lot of overlapping away games for the rest of the season. Odd aren't exactly scoring a lot at the moment, so it feels like you aren't gaining a lot by doing the transfer. You might as well keep Fernandes and bring in Hansen for Leciejewski instead. Brann doesn't have great fixtures during the summer, while Rosenborg have great fixtures and not a lot of players defending their prices.

I think Dyngeland is a great option, actually. Sogndal have improved and they have good fixtures going forward. As Ramboros says though, you might look into replacing Leciejewski as well.

Personally I would play Moe over Lundström this week. Midtsjø>Schulze could be worth a punt, but decent fixture for Midtsjø this week too.

Good thinking playing Moe over Lundstrøm. Subbed! 🙂

Don't think I will have the stones to sell Midtsjø this week. I might just save the transfer to have more flexibility next GW.

Who would you sell for Schulze?

For me Schulze is a 5th midfielder. You only play him for fixtures like this, and bench him most week. I've barely seen him play since he played for Viking as a youngster a few years ago. Great form and good fixtures for sure, but I'm honestly not sure if he's a must. Great punt this week, but only if you have a spare FT IMO. If you're getting him, it has to be for Braaten in my book.

A, keep Midsjø as good fixtures appears. Think RBK will get back to form, maby through playing Wiljamsson more

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I find myself leaning more towards Niemi's opinion here (prob because it is more similar to my initial suggestions), all I know is that Leciejewski is not worth the money nor the 3rd Brann slot atm. He's probe to mistakes this season, although he's also capable of making great saves. Will replace him too, prob with Lie. Sogndal is decent at home, Dyngeland has just been appointed Norway's international goalie and Sandefjord looks in shambles atm.

Midtsjø to Schulze is tempting as he hasn't been much involved in Rosenborg's goals of late, and they haven't kept a clean sheet for a while. That being said, it HAS to turn around for them, the question is when... their latest games haven't given us any hopes in that respect.

      1. Niemi
        • 11 Years

I own Leciejewski myself (and McDermott), and tempted to switch to Lie. Lie is 5.1 now though (started at 4.5), so there's not much to save. I am tempted to go Dyngeland instead, as Sogndal looks tighter after shifting to 3/5 at the back. I'm probably leaving Leciejewski in there another week to assess the options I think, but not 100% decided.

Won't be surprised if this ends 0-0. Brann will probably go out very defensive. Odd will be without both first choice CBs, as Hagen got injured in the cup and Semb Berge not expected to make it. Could mean Oldrup Jensen at CB, not ideal.

Gytkjær (top scorer in 2016) has just been released by 1860 Munich as they were relegated. Will be interesting to see where he goes next. Maybe some of the bigger teams in Eliteserien will pick him up? Can't see where though. They would probably love him back at Rosenborg, but hard to fit him in with Bendtner there.

Nothing else I know of confirmed, but these games are in the potential-list due to european qualifier rounds:
      GW20: Rosenborg - Haugesund
      GW21: Strømsgodset - Rosenborg
      GW23: Lillestrøm - Rosenborg
      GW24: Brann - Kristiansund
      GW27: Rosenborg - Stabæk

Rosenborg players have been a huge disappointment in the first half of the season, and in the second half they are potentially a blank-hazard up until the very end.... still though, that same potential makes DGW's bonanza...

    Leciejewski

    Hedenstad, Grogaard, Rolantsson

    Haugen, Brochmann, Koomson, Midtsjo, Svendsen.

    Sigurdarson, Omoijuanfo.

    McDermott, Lindberg, Moe, Ryerson.
    0.9 ITB. 1FT.
Would love to upgrade Lindberg to Mos but involves hits - downgrading keeper and maybe Svendsen.
Tempted to just change main keeper to Hansen or Lie?
Maybe sensible option is to just to leave it alone and use 2fts for next GW?

Adegbenro was used behind the striker in training yesterday and might start in that position on Sunday. Makes him an even better pick IMO.

For those interested Viking are targeting Grønner (Brann CB) and Høiland (Strømsgodset ST, ex-Viking) in the summer. I've heard Gytkjær name mentioned, but it's probably too ambitious. They would need someone to push money into the club for that to happen.

Just did Morer Vicente to Adegbenro. Couldn't resist him this GW.

Bench one of my Rosenborg defenders or Andersen (playing away against Rosenborg)? Currently on Andersen.

Might be irrelevant though as A. Sigurdarson and Ohi are both doubts.

      Would play Andersen, on form.

Want mos and have 2ft, and need to take out one of Helland for Jevtovic or Svendsen for Sødlund to enable. Advice?

Helland to Jevtovic sounds good. Jevtovic looks better than Helland at the moment.

Bench Andersen. Most of his points are at home. He played the full 90 minutes against Mjøndalen and that game was played more recently than Rosenborg's game. Godset tends to do poorly at Lerkendal. 5 goals in the last 7 matches, 4 CS for Rosenborg.

My thinking as well. Rosenborg CS more likely than any Andersen involvement.

Looking at point per game and ignoring players that played 3 games or less, Anderson has the highest ppg (6) followed by adegbenro and ohi at 5.9 each. Impressive that Anderson and adegbenro are up there considering how badly their teams are doing!

Quite a small sample for Andersen yet though.

2 free but I'll save 1 to have 2 over international break.

So, Braaten to Adegbenro looks likely.

      Good move indeed.

I even wanna captain Adegbenro, but don't think I'll have the guts to go through with it, lol.

It's 6m under budget too. Shows how useless the money is at this stage. Hope the big hitters start delivering after the international break.

I know what you're asking. Mos 2.10 to score, Ohi 2.62. Lillestrøm 4.50 to keep a CS, Haugesund 5.50. Both on penalties. I'd say captain Mos if you own both.
