Two Gameweeks has passed since the last article and it’s been another two weeks with a low average score. The upcoming Gameweek is the last one before an international break. Also, be wary of the cup games today and tomorrow, injuries could be on the cards.

FFSCOUT LEAGUE STANDINGS

On top of the FFS League we find Bøllefrø with a total score of 539 points. Right behind him Våtisenga, Hellerud Homeboys and Rossbach 2 TheFuture are chasing with 537 points.

There are 44 teams that’s 30 points or less behind Bøllefrø, so it’s still very open.

In the head-to-head league Dutch Warriors are still leading with an impressive 10 victories out of 11.

STOCK CHECK

RISING
Andreas Lie (5.1)
His stock continues to climb after 10 points in the previous two matches. A clean sheet and four saves against Sandefjord, before he had five saves and bonus points against Brann away. With good fixtures coming up it’s difficult to look elsewhere.

Sigurd Rosted (5.9)
After putting him as a faller in my last article, he has since bounced back with 15 and nine points in the previous two Gameweeks. Six bonus points, two clean sheets and one goal scored in those two games. Sarpsborg are now looking like the team we expected them to be, scoring less and keeping more clean sheets.

Amin Nouri (5.5)
He’s been very much overlooked due to Rolantsson doing well. From his right-back position, he’s been very attacking lately and has picked up three assist in the previous four Gameweeks. Last time out he gained two bonus points as well. Brann only kept one clean sheet in that period. He’s worth keeping an eye on, especially if Rolantsson stops delivering and continues to be subbed before 60 minutes.

Eirik Ulland Andersen (7.9)
He’s been the standout performer over the past few weeks. After starting the season with an injury, he’s now started the last five games. In those five matches he’s scored 40 points, scoring three goals and assisting three. He’s on most set pieces, and also capable of scoring direct from free kicks. Not the best fixtures coming up though, with Rosenborg and VΓ₯lerenga away in the next two.

Edwin Gyasi (7.4)
Mentioned as a differential in the last article, he’s now scored in three games in a row and picked up three bonus points. Aalesund are currently looking like a decent team and with good fixtures coming up, there’s no denying he’s a good pick.

Samuel Adegbenro (7.3)
Another one mentioned as a faller in my last article. Against Stabæ he picked up two bonus points, before he scored, assisted and picked up another bonus point in a 4-2 loss against Strømsgodset. Viking appear doomed at the moment, but he’s head and shoulders above the other players currently. With home games against Kristiansund and Haugesund coming up, as well as an away game against Lillestrøm, it might be time to fetch him back in.

Erling Knudtzon (7.7)
It might seem to be a knee-jerk to include a player that scored 25 points in the first 10 Gameweeks, but his hat-trick and 20-point haul against Tromsø puts him back on our radar. Having started the first nine Gameweeks as a right midfielder, he’s been playing up front along with another out of position midfielder Udoji in a 4-4-2 in the last two Gameweeks. Against Tromsø he was able to use his blistering pace against a naive and high defensive line, so I won’t be expecting similar hauls every week. The out of position appeal is tempting and puts him on our radar.

Erik Huseklepp (8.3)
Another midfielder playing as a striker. He’s started a few matches up front this year, and in the previous two matches he’s scored 10 points (one assist and two bonus points). Huseklepp are struggling for goals at the moment, but there are definitely potential here. One to keep an eye on.

Mos (8.9)
If there are any essential players at the moment, I’d say it’s Mos. In a game full of unreliable players, Mos has scored a goal in seven out of 11 Gameweeks. With some luck he could have scored against Brann last Gameweek as well. He’s yet to score a double-digit haul, but that might change with a bunch of good fixtures coming up.

Bjørn Bergman Sigurdarson (9.6)
As with Mos, he’s one of few strikers currently scoring well. He’s scored two goals in the previous three, as well as picking up three bonus points. In my opinion, he’s been quite unlucky to not get bigger hauls so far, so this is definitely a player you would want in your team.

Fallers

Piotr Leciejewski (5.5)
We all expected better from him. A keeper who many regarded as the best in Eliteserien before this season has now been personally at fault for  quite a few goals Brann has conceded. One clean sheet in the previous six is is way less than expected.

Vegard Eggen Hedenstad (6.7)
The most expensive defender in the game, except for Rolantsson. In the previous seven Gameweeks, he’s blanked six times – a major disappointment. Good fixtures are on the horizon, so this might change going forward.

Gili Rolantsson (7.0)After an amazing spell, he’s now blanked in three of the last four games. He’s been withdrawn before 60 minutes on two occasions. He’s still a good option playing as a left winger, but certainly not as essential as he was before.

Pål Andre Helland (10.9)
The most expensive midfielder in the game. As with Hedenstad he’s blanked in six of the last seven games. Rosenborg doesn’t look good going forward and he looks like a shadow of himself. He’s just not justifying his price tag at the moment.

Nicklas Bendtner (12.3)
I have to admit he’s been looking better lately, but it’s not enough to justify owning the most expensive man in the game. Scoring just a single goal in the last five fails to meet our expectations. Now he’s suspended for Rosenborg’s next game after picking up his third yellow of the season

DIFFERENTIALS FOR GAMEWEEK 12

Erling Knudtzon (7.7)
Although it’s not the best fixture, I’d back him to do well continuing in his striker role against Stabæk away. 4.6% ownership.

Matthias Vilhjalmson (8.2)
The most likely replacement for Bendtner. He’s looked dangerous whenever he’s played this season, both as a midfielder and as a striker. I’d back him to do well this Gameweek. He’s a really short term option, but with 1.8% ownership he could make a massive difference.

Eirik Schulze (5.0)Most people think of Koomson whenever we talk about Sogndal’s attack, but this guy has been doing very well lately. As with Gyasi, he’s now scored in three straight games and also assisted a goal. He probably won’t keep on scoring at that rate, but I’d back him to do well against Sandefjord at home. 1.1% ownership.

I’d also back previous differentials.Luc Kassi (6.0), Aaron Sigurdarson (6.3)and Edwin Gyasi (7.4) to do well this Gameweek.

Quite a decent bench actually. Not sure if I should play Moe, Andersen or Lindberg?

Would play Lindberg over Moe. Moe attacking, but not getting many attacking returns. Lindberg more likely to get attacking returns.

And Stabæk has only kept a cs in 4 of 12 matches.

    Who to play:

    A) Kind Mikalsen (stb)
    B) Stølås (aafk)
    C) Shuaibu (aafk)

Stabæk have only scored once in the last 3 home games, but it looks to be a fluke. They've conceded 6 goals on set pieces, which Kind Mikalsen either takes or is at the end of. 6 conceded goals in the last 6 for LSK. LSK's only CS so far have been away.

Haugesund have kept 5 CS so far this season, but have also conceded at least 2 goals in all the other matches.

Shuaibu has been rotated a lot lately, but Gytkjær is rumored out for the weekend. He should be a relatively safe 2 pointer.

    1. Niemi
      • 11 Years

Shuaibu is 100% starting up top with Huseklepp. Would be tempted by Kind Mikalsen though, he's very attacking.

    Hedenstad - Seck - Rolantsson
    Midtsjø - Riski - Svendsen - Brochmann
    Ohi - Mos - Mortensen

    Leciejewski, Grøgaard, Braaten, Moe.

What do you guys think? Consdering Mortensen to Vilhjalmsson for a -4 this gw.

    Lie
    Rolantsson, Ruud, Hedenstad
    Jensen, Midstjo, Haugen, Brochmann, Pedersen

Based on what we know currently I'd say go with Jevtovic over Jensen/Helland. Would use the funds to upgrade Pedersen and Shuaibu.

Thanks for your input. So how about...

        Pedersen, Jensen > Koomson, Jevtovic

Most of my points are coming from midfield, so I'm happy with 352 and Shuaibu. Leaves me with .5m ITB

I see your arguments for a 352. Personally wouldn't leave out Sigurdarson up top, but it could work.

Also consider Andersen (Strømsgodset) and Adegbenro (Viking) for your last midfielder spot.

With Ohi, Sigurdarson and Mos on Top you'll have 3 regular scoring forwards and a couple on pens. Not so many as 5 consistent goal scoring mids in this game.

  10. poohdini

I did Leciejewski > Hansen earlier but I can't decide on my other FT. I could either upgrade Lindberg to Orlov (or Lehne Olsen but he's injured) or wait another week and downgrade Zahid to one of Braaten-Barmen-Koomson-Adegbenro (basically a max 8.5 midfielder) and upgrade Lindberg to Sigurdarson.

I guess I'll do the second option. Still not sure though. On the other hand, play Lindberg or Moe?

    Origi

    Ruud - Rosted - Hedenstad - Ryerson

    Midtsjø - Haugen - Svendsen - Adegbendro

    Mos (C) - Sigurdarsson

    Fernandes - Aasen - Shuaibu - Wormgoor

    1. MTPockets

Looks good, although I wouldn't play Ryerson.

See that oddsassistenten (bookies) have them at best CS odds, but don't agree personally. 1CS all season, including 2 cup games. Ryerson further back now. Kristiansund not good away but something seems to have changed with1 loss in last 6 - admittedly perhaps just home game skew.

I could but have Gyasi + Trondsen backup & wanted 2FT for next week.
Would sell the sick guy first personally.

Someone mentioned blanks in GW16 (?). Which teams are blanking then? Hasn't been confirmed on the game site yet.

Gjermund Åsen didn't receive a yellow card against Rosenborg but was given one in the game. I thought he was suspended for this GW and decided to take a hit to take him out. That's really sloppy.

Easy guys, this is a one-sided score, but both defences look rotten to the core, it almost takes more "skill" for Tromsø not to have scored a couple as well so far.....

Singh would be a very interesting choice as a budget GK. Only 3.9, but I don't think many have the luxury to bring him in.

He was horrible in the highlight package of their last league game. Wouldn't get him.
