Two Gameweeks has passed since the last article and itโ€™s been another two weeks with a low average score. The upcoming Gameweek is the last one before an international break. Also, be wary of the cup games today and tomorrow, injuries could be on the cards.

FFSCOUT LEAGUE STANDINGS

On top of the FFS League we find Bøllefrø with a total score of 539 points. Right behind him Våtisenga, Hellerud Homeboys and Rossbach 2 TheFuture are chasing with 537 points.

There are 44 teams thatโ€™s 30 points or less behind Bøllefrø, so itโ€™s still very open.

In the head-to-head league Dutch Warriors are still leading with an impressive 10 victories out of 11.

STOCK CHECK

RISING
Andreas Lie (5.1)
His stock continues to climb after 10 points in the previous two matches. A clean sheet and four saves against Sandefjord, before he had five saves and bonus points against Brann away. With good fixtures coming up itโ€™s difficult to look elsewhere.

Sigurd Rosted (5.9)
After putting him as a faller in my last article, he has since bounced back with 15 and nine points in the previous two Gameweeks. Six bonus points, two clean sheets and one goal scored in those two games. Sarpsborg are now looking like the team we expected them to be, scoring less and keeping more clean sheets.

Amin Nouri (5.5)
Heโ€™s been very much overlooked due to Rolantsson doing well. From his right-back position, heโ€™s been very attacking lately and has picked up three assist in the previous four Gameweeks. Last time out he gained two bonus points as well. Brann only kept one clean sheet in that period. Heโ€™s worth keeping an eye on, especially if Rolantsson stops delivering and continues to be subbed before 60 minutes.

Eirik Ulland Andersen (7.9)
Heโ€™s been the standout performer over the past few weeks. After starting the season with an injury, heโ€™s now started the last five games. In those five matches heโ€™s scored 40 points, scoring three goals and assisting three. Heโ€™s on most set pieces, and also capable of scoring direct from free kicks. Not the best fixtures coming up though, with Rosenborg and Vรฅlerenga away in the next two.

Edwin Gyasi (7.4)
Mentioned as a differential in the last article, heโ€™s now scored in three games in a row and picked up three bonus points. Aalesund are currently looking like a decent team and with good fixtures coming up, thereโ€™s no denying heโ€™s a good pick.

Samuel Adegbenro (7.3)
Another one mentioned as a faller in my last article. Against Stabæ he picked up two bonus points, before he scored, assisted and picked up another bonus point in a 4-2 loss against Strømsgodset. Viking appear doomed at the moment, but heโ€™s head and shoulders above the other players currently. With home games against Kristiansund and Haugesund coming up, as well as an away game against Lillestrøm, it might be time to fetch him back in.

Erling Knudtzon (7.7)
It might seem to be a knee-jerk to include a player that scored 25 points in the first 10 Gameweeks, but his hat-trick and 20-point haul against Tromsø puts him back on our radar. Having started the first nine Gameweeks as a right midfielder, heโ€™s been playing up front along with another out of position midfielder Udoji in a 4-4-2 in the last two Gameweeks. Against Tromsø he was able to use his blistering pace against a naive and high defensive line, so I wonโ€™t be expecting similar hauls every week. The out of position appeal is tempting and puts him on our radar.

Erik Huseklepp (8.3)
Another midfielder playing as a striker. Heโ€™s started a few matches up front this year, and in the previous two matches heโ€™s scored 10 points (one assist and two bonus points). Huseklepp are struggling for goals at the moment, but there are definitely potential here. One to keep an eye on.

Mos (8.9)
If there are any essential players at the moment, Iโ€™d say itโ€™s Mos. In a game full of unreliable players, Mos has scored a goal in seven out of 11 Gameweeks. With some luck he could have scored against Brann last Gameweek as well. Heโ€™s yet to score a double-digit haul, but that might change with a bunch of good fixtures coming up.

Bjørn Bergman Sigurdarson (9.6)
As with Mos, heโ€™s one of few strikers currently scoring well. Heโ€™s scored two goals in the previous three, as well as picking up three bonus points. In my opinion, heโ€™s been quite unlucky to not get bigger hauls so far, so this is definitely a player you would want in your team.

Fallers

Piotr Leciejewski (5.5)
We all expected better from him. A keeper who many regarded as the best in Eliteserien before this season has now been personally at fault for  quite a few goals Brann has conceded. One clean sheet in the previous six is is way less than expected.

Vegard Eggen Hedenstad (6.7)
The most expensive defender in the game, except for Rolantsson. In the previous seven Gameweeks, heโ€™s blanked six times – a major disappointment. Good fixtures are on the horizon, so this might change going forward.

Gili Rolantsson (7.0)After an amazing spell, heโ€™s now blanked in three of the last four games. Heโ€™s been withdrawn before 60 minutes on two occasions. Heโ€™s still a good option playing as a left winger, but certainly not as essential as he was before.

Pål Andre Helland (10.9)
The most expensive midfielder in the game. As with Hedenstad heโ€™s blanked in six of the last seven games. Rosenborg doesnโ€™t look good going forward and he looks like a shadow of himself. Heโ€™s just not justifying his price tag at the moment.

Nicklas Bendtner (12.3)
I have to admit heโ€™s been looking better lately, but itโ€™s not enough to justify owning the most expensive man in the game. Scoring just a single goal in the last five fails to meet our expectations. Now heโ€™s suspended for Rosenborgโ€™s next game after picking up his third yellow of the season

DIFFERENTIALS FOR GAMEWEEK 12

Erling Knudtzon (7.7)
Although itโ€™s not the best fixture, Iโ€™d back him to do well continuing in his striker role against Stabæk away. 4.6% ownership.

Matthias Vilhjalmson (8.2)
The most likely replacement for Bendtner. Heโ€™s looked dangerous whenever heโ€™s played this season, both as a midfielder and as a striker. Iโ€™d back him to do well this Gameweek. Heโ€™s a really short term option, but with 1.8% ownership he could make a massive difference.

Eirik Schulze (5.0)Most people think of Koomson whenever we talk about Sogndalโ€™s attack, but this guy has been doing very well lately. As with Gyasi, heโ€™s now scored in three straight games and also assisted a goal. He probably wonโ€™t keep on scoring at that rate, but Iโ€™d back him to do well against Sandefjord at home. 1.1% ownership.

Iโ€™d also back previous differentials.Luc Kassi (6.0), Aaron Sigurdarson (6.3)and Edwin Gyasi (7.4) to do well this Gameweek.

In fpl under clean sheet rules it says "excluding injury time", but it's not there in Norway fpl. ESNfantasy account also tweeted that he gets the CS, because he got to 60 during injury time. Doesn't really make any sense because players who were on the pitch for the full game have 90 minutes played, not 92, 93 or 94.

        1. MTPockets
          9 years, 1 month ago

I don't mind either way, as long as consistent.

It will never be consistent if you include injury time. What happens if a game has a 15 minute break because of weather or fireworks? What happens if a player gets a serious injury? You aren't playing 10 minutes of additional football.

            1. MTPockets
              9 years, 1 month ago

A rule [not excluding injury time] can be consistent without every scenario being uniform.

All your examples would be encompassed by that rule, without having to detail specifics. Not my preferred choice, or the most logical, but consistent.

The FK Fantasy guys says injury time from 2nd half count, but not from 1st half. Doesn't make any sense to me really. Why do they have different rules from FPL? Why doesn't it say so on the "rules" page?

My money is on they don't know what they're talking about and Wangberg CS will be removed.

                1. MTPockets
                  9 years, 1 month ago

Just referring to VS10's comment above - that there's apparently no equivalent written rule to FPL for this game. Quite possible that in practice they're making/fixing it up as go along; I have no idea.

Valerenga have only kept 4 clean sheets all season, but Jonatan Tollas is already up to 4th in the defender standings after scoring his 3rd goal of the campaign this afternoon.

He now faces Strømsgodset (H) and Lillestrøm (H), both at home. A price tag of 5.7m is relatively expensive for someone part of such an awful backline, but does his goal threat warrant investment nonetheless? Is he a good short term option after the international break or does his blank in Gameweek 16 make you want to stay away?

Proud owner of Brochmann and Knudtzon today. Plus I didn't captain Ohi. One of the commentators hinted towards max bonus for Knudtzon("Best LSK player today"). Rafn and Kippe/Kassi will probably be get bonus too.

Kind Mikalsen was possibly the worst LSK player today. Quite disappointing to see him play like that.

Svendsen is the only player I think could rival Knudtzon over both the next week and the next 5-6 weeks purely based on fixtures and points taken so far this season. Seems like a no brainer considering Zahid will blank twice in the next 4 GWs.
