FIFA 18 – FFScout Community Pro Club

For those that don’t know me, I go by ‘Goldman’ here on FFScout. I have been a member on this site since the start of the 2015/16 season, which has led to me meeting lots of new faces, joining in on many community tournaments and ultimately becoming a much better Fantasy Premier League manager.

Last year I came up with the idea to start a Pro Club on EA Sports’ Fifa for members of the site to join and chat Fantasy along with hopefully winning a few league titles along the way. The idea came up during an international break when things slowed down quite a bit and there wasn’t much discussion going on in the forums.

Needless to say, It turned out to be a huge success, managers such as Jazz, Lawro, The Fantasy Freak, Andre94PT, The Wise Owl, just to name a few, together have managed to consistently stay in Division 1 and win five titles finishing 2884th in the world.

For those that don’t know much about Pro Clubs, you create a player, pick your position and join the Club and help move up the world rankings as a team.

I have created a club for FFScout members, and only those from the community can join.

It’s called FFScout FC and you are all welcome, even if you don’t think you are that great, the idea here is that we can help each other get better and work as a team to rise in the ranks. We have set a very high goal this year, to hopefully become one of the top teams in the world.

We currently have a very strong core, and are only missing a few defenders from time to time. So with that being said, the plan now is to start up a second team, called FFScout U23, this will basically be our reserve team, and the plan is to Scout players from that team to join us in the first team.

So long as everyone is on the same page with that idea and understands that not everyone can play on the first team it will work out well, some of you may be moved back and forth from time to time but we will all be working together to compete for world rankings and try finish better than 2884th. We will be signing defenders for our first team, but the rest will be signed onto the Reserve team for now.

Most of us may not be expert Fifa players, and so may feel as though you should avoid playing as to not embarrass yourself on the pitch…but the idea here is that it’s all in good fun, to be a part of the community and enjoy the game together, learning with each-other along the way.

I’ve been playing Fifa for almost 10 years now and I still can’t say I’m an expert. The more you play, the better you will get, and we have some good players here that will help improve your game.

Now, at the moment we only have this available on PS4, unfortunately Xbox didn’t get enough members last season and I won’t be able to run it as there is only so much time in a day to sleep, eat, work, manage FPL, play Fifa and somehow fit my soon to be wife in there from time to time.. So if anyone is willing to attempt to build a team for Xbox, feel free to get in touch with me and I will help you get started.

We will have a WhatsApp group for both teams so getting a game should be pretty straightforward, it has worked out really well for us this season. Having a mic will be something worth investing in also for those of you that don’t have one yet.
