The initial suggestion of downgrading Alonso by Jimmy above is reasonable advice given ManU's propensity in keeping clean sheets - and it allows you the flexibility to prepare for the many upcoming possibilities - let's face it you're going to want to get in Aguero or Morata (but likely both)....
Just a suggestion:
Alonso to Jones this week (2.4 ITB?), this gives you the flexibility to do the following:
next week:
upgrade Vardy to Morata or
Brady to Zaha
or Lukaku -> Aguero and plenty in the bank

How can we discover the bug of xG's and xA's? Look at this, for instance: Stoke defender Edwards, who played 52 minutes this season and conceded 3 goals, has a minutes/xGi of 182.8. That is nowhere possible... This ludicrous assessment must somehow be due to the fact that Stoke managed 2 goals whilst Edwards was on the pitch (conceding 3 goals). So we are to assume that, statistically, if Edwards gets 4 more games like that, he will do something.. No way...
My question to all is, where is the bug of xGs and XaS? In other words, if we are to benefit from these, how should we interpret this data, with which reservations? Every statistic has its flaws and bugs and we must master that of xG and xA in order to win...
I'm having a look in comparison tool but have no idea how to head it.
If King has an xG of .28, does that mean he has a 28% chance of a goal or .28 goals per game?
It's per the parameters you choose. So if you have over the season, its 0,28 goals this season. If it's last match, last match. Etc..

I don't know why you changed from XG to XGi in your question about Edwards. I'm treating it as a typo, if it is something else please clarify.
The logical reading of this post would be that it takes Edwards on average 182 minutes before you expect a goal. However, the algoritm can only take the data it is served into account. So I wouldn't expect good results on someone before they've played several matches.

I see your point that good results can be achieved only if you compare players with similar playing attributes. Fair enough.
But would you not agree that Edwards' xGi wouldexposey some bug about the whole system that we could use even with reference to Jesus and Agüero? Perhaps time will tell.

Schlupp played winger a few times already and RLC is no winger. The only way for RLC in the starting 11 imo is replacing McArthur, Townsend moving to the wing and RLC playing behind Zaha..

If Aguero had come off the bench yesterday then yes, that's what I would assume. But I'm not so sure he'll be rested now (and by that I mean I think he'll get his usual 60-70 minutes).

I know some will say “he can even score of them bench or City score so many goals” but I don’t buy that they will score 5+ goals every game.

On the one hand, why mess with a winning formula, but on the other Aguero seemed first choice before his injury with Jesus in a wider role.
And yes, eventually City will start winning 1-0 or 2-1 instead of 5-0 or 7-2!
It's more 3 up top than 1 though. He can employ Jesus instead of Sane and play both. No way Jesus is benched every PL game, that's for sure!
