Part of a (traditionally) strong defence. Extra points for saves (which he makes a lot of); does decently BAPs-wise. Nailed-on, unlike most other United defenders; doesn't cause rotation headaches... wouldn't lose if you had him.
But if you desperately need to downgrade, sure.

Fabianski/Pope are keeping him fairly close value-wise. But it really depends if the extra 1M odd will get you much of an upgrade elsewhere.
Brought in David Silva last week, and getting shut of him this week after getting me a total of zero points- you might think it was a bad move but actually kept me in the cup.
Brought him in for Alli- who I would have played- but because Silva didn't rock up I had Ruben Loftus-Cheek come off the bench and I stayed in the cup by 1 point. 🙂

2 gives me a better team overall, but 1 allows me to keep an extra FT and Loftus-Cheek who I actually quite like as my 4.5 attacker.
