Opinions on Lingard vs. Pogba? Pogba is the more secure starter obviously, but Lingard is both cheaper and playing in a more advanced position.
Got to be Pogs. Will play every game and might be on pens. Lingard always a mistake away from being dropped and gets subbed rather early.
With Mkhitaryan seemingly heading for a January exit, I'm not so sure - and Lingard has looked good in the last few games. You're of course right if money is no object.
Ibra could play there, Martial on the wing with Mata in 10, Pogs further up with Herrera/McTom staying behind. Lots of uncertainties. Its probably worth a punt at that price but Id still go for Pogs. Reckon hes a bargain at 7.9.
Agree re: Pogba being nailed, but Ibra's knee won't enable him to play no10 anytime soon with regularity in the PL. i have heard it has not healed properly.
We have no evidence that Mourinho would use Ibra as a No. 10, and Pogba is better starting deeper. Mata could (probably should) play as the No. 10 but as we all know Mourinho doesn't like him. I agree with you that Pogba is a great price though, but Lingard is rather easier to fit into my team at the moment with so many expensive midfielders to fit in.
How much do you reckon Lingard will play over the next couple of GW's? Could be interesting
Looks like Mourinho prefers him in the No. 10 role at the moment to Mkhitaryan or Mata.

The last time I remember reading one of these was Azpi vs Alonso and I went with the baseline bonus agurement and am feeling kinda sorry now.
I have watched 2-3 West Ham matches in the past few weeks as they have played the big teams. I went Ogbonna when he was 4.3m but at 4.4m each I would go Masuaku personally. He is playing as an advanced LWB and will get an assist or goal sooner or later.
Okay yes I forgot Ogbonna rose in price. with them both at 4.4 its more equal and I would of probably gone masuaku as I had to to get jones in my backline aswell.

If two premium strikers starts firing and two midfielders slow down it would take at least 4 transfers to get on board

No necessarily in my opinion If Chelsea kept a clean sheet and City carry on bangin em in, that would somehow make up for that rare Liverpool blank i would of thought.
I'm not too keen on the Liverpool triple up but yeah a power 5 midfield is the way to go at this moment. Key is to remain flexible as I think the premium forwards will start scoring again very soon.

RE: David Silva - from what I can piece together from from a tweet and a couple of articles, he seems to be doing some sort of ambassadorial lauch/presentation for a holiday/hotel company.

I think both Kun and Jesus benefited a lot from each other's presence in the early part of this season. Then the Kun accident happened and it became rotation for the lone spot...now they both seem off-form. Luckily City's mids are scoring for fun so it doesn't affect the team but it dents them both as prospects in my opinion.
