We can now reveal who has made it through to the fourth round of our Fantasy Football Scout Cup and the third round of the Members tournament.

Fantasy Football Scout Cup, Round 4

All four of round three’s remaining former champions live to fight another day.

Of this quartet Gribude has the toughest test, as he takes his 60,500 ranked team into battle with 29,687 placed chrisdharris, while Mark sets himself up with a tie against Wolfsburgers, who, with a ranking of 22,408, is 11,726 places higher.

Sleepysi (ranked 30,965) appears to have a smoother passage to the next round as he squares up to 169,564 placed melvinmbabazi. Similarly Ninja_Fit_Saints (ranked 400,062) looks to be the favourite in his encounter with community veteran Rasping Drive, who is just inside the top one million in the rankings.

The competition’s highest placed competitor Elvarus emerged victorious from his round three clash with Warsworn. Next up for this 167th placed manager is a fourth round tussle with 137,849 ranked Joey Barton and friends.

Other notable ties include former FPL champion Tom Fenley’s match-up with Flying Nugget.

The full  third round results can be found here, while the full fourth round draw can be found here.

Members Cup, Round 3

As mentioned, there will definitely be a new name on the trophy this time around with our former winner suffering an exit in the first round.

Despite being ranked only 495,513, Big Mac 24 may fancy his chances after dispatching round two’s highest ranked manager tisza (placed 223). Next up for this giant killer is another tough tie, against 81,560 placed Jeremylinter.

Mark survives his second round encounter with Deanamo Jammy to set up a sweet match up against 298,629 ranked Toffee777.

I also progress and take my 14,795 placed troops with me into a third round tie with rrcmc (ranked 302,688). Paul, who is placed at 223,287 in the rankings, is another survivor and has a tricky contest against No pressure jose (ranked 56,428).

The third round also features matches between Bend It Like Bennett and Gnu, while Cheeseoid takes on Gotham.

The full second round results can be found here, while the full third round draw can be found here.

If Chelsea and United both win their ties tonight, then draw each other in the Semis, does that guarantee blanks for all 4 of Chelsea, United, City and Arsenal in gw28?

Do the semis affect PL? Or is it just the final?

Not necessarily. It could be moved to the following midweek (and stay in the same GW) if the teams involved don't have a FAC R5 replay.

Cheers. This is what I was getting at. I’d rather a straight up blank tbh. Putting games back in the week would just weaken strategic thinking plans imo.

Was Silva out known before Spurs match or was everyone caught unawares like me?
Hate I brought him for a hit in last 5mins predeadline.
Guess Silva to Pogba for free seems no brainer

I don't know what to do with Silva. He's gonna dopo tonight and I got him at 8.1. I really want some City coverage. Could do Silva to Pogba, but then no City. Could do Silva/Gross to Sterling/RLC for (-4)

          See above mate.

City also whipped Spurs and had Silva played I have no doubt he would have been involved. It didn't work out, I still scored well, and I don't regret the move.

It was the better move for me long term just couldn't have foreseen Silva's issue that arose.

Is DDG and Moreno to Coutois and Jones for -4 a bad move?

Been considering it as it's the only way i Can afford me to keep UTD double up (already own Smalling) but also to have a Chelsea 'defender' in Courtois.

Exact money if I act today!

      Jones not
      Plus Chelsea not great defensively

You get Chelsea defs for possible attacking returns, and Man United defs for the clean sheets.

DDG is a guaranteed starter or so they say, so I'd rather keep him, and do Moreno to someone else, Wham seem to be popular lately and have a double coming up ( but don't fill up your team with them and Spurs).

Dunno really. My first season in FPL, but I have followed PL closely the last 10 years 😉
Think my advice would be not to take hits on defenders - I've been chopping and changing to much in my defense trying to get 4 CS every week. It just doesn't work that way I guess 😉

This. Why would Fenway sell him when they have the CL to play for and could risk missing out on top 4. Surely they will wait until summer.

Also a big risk for Coutinho because he wants to be in form for World Cup and what if he doesn't hit the ground running in a new league?

Don't see it happening. Paper talk. He moves in July post World Cup IMO.

      Ogbonna - baseline bonus
Masuaku - more flair getting forward but also could miss out if move to back 4

      Ogbonna for me wins it

Have a feeling this is the perfect game for Hazard to do well and captain. Everton will be full of confidence and will attack, Chelsea catching them on the break with Hazard potential haul. My 2 cents

They will no doubt. I cant see them defending deep with all those goals they have scored recently plus they are now out of danger.

They copped 8 goals in 2 games last season. BFS will play defence 1st, attack 2nd.

That will be very negative. That Everton team cant defend against a big team as Chelsea imo.

Still think they will concede 2-3 barring a De Gea-esque vs Arsenal performance by Pickford.

Even if EVE defend, I think Hazard (C) is an excellent choice as a back four of Martina (mediocre) - Holgate (inexperienced) - Williams (slow) - Kenny (inexperienced) sooner or later will get found out by a class team. With Morata back and rested, and Hazard in form, I think CHE will put 2-3 past EVE this weekend.

I am debating Hazard v Kane as my captain this weekend since I don't own City assets.

They have played Liverpool with Ox, Henderson and Milner as their 'creative' midfield. I think they havent been tested since Sam took over imo.

I agree. It's a mediocre, mid table defense, even with Big Sam in charge. The players may be organized, and the goalkeeper is admittedly class, but CHE on their day could rip them apart. Swansea moved the ball with relative ease in the first half at Goodison the other night. I expect 2-3 CHE goals.

Hazard or Kane. I still remember "Defensive" Big Sam losing 5-0 to Man City a few weeks before the end of last season with Crystal Palace. I know Chelsea aren't as dynamic as City, but think it could be a week for Hazard/Morata to truly shine.

Hazard got 3 points away to Huddersfield and 2 points away to West Ham
he's just not captain material away from home ...
I'll be happy if he get some extra points but think the armband has to by city - KDB or Sterling for me

Aguero playing with a calf injury and even though Jesus completed 120 mins on Tuesday, he will have plenty of rest before Saturday to spell Aguero if Kun only completes 50-60 minutes again...

I see a lot of Kane->Aguero moves being debated, or completed. Regardless of the fact that Kane isn't value for money (he probably isn't), aren't people worried about Aguero's calf injury and form?

    Aguero's last 5 gameweeks?

2-2-0-6-1. 11 points. About 2 points per gameweek. That includes full matches against Southampton, West Ham AND Swansea.

    Kane's last 5 gameweeks?

6-2-12-2-1. 23 points. About 5 points per gameweek.

Not sure how this is a no-brainer... outside of a tasty fixture against Bournemouth, the form debate is not even a debate...

wait for news, if he hasn't trained all week, he likely won't be risked against Bournemouth. A combo of Gundo, Yaya, KDB in central areas will be enough to deal with Harry Arter or Lewis Cook or whoever features centrally for Howe.

    Clear this up for me.

    -4= one hit
    -8= two hits
    -12= three hits etc.

So if someone asks me how many hits I've taken I answer three if I took a -12.

Correct? I don't need to say -12., It is the same thing but the correct answer is three.
