We can now reveal who has made it through to the fourth round of our Fantasy Football Scout Cup and the third round of the Members tournament.

Fantasy Football Scout Cup, Round 4

All four of round three’s remaining former champions live to fight another day.

Of this quartet Gribude has the toughest test, as he takes his 60,500 ranked team into battle with 29,687 placed chrisdharris, while Mark sets himself up with a tie against Wolfsburgers, who, with a ranking of 22,408, is 11,726 places higher.

Sleepysi (ranked 30,965) appears to have a smoother passage to the next round as he squares up to 169,564 placed melvinmbabazi. Similarly Ninja_Fit_Saints (ranked 400,062) looks to be the favourite in his encounter with community veteran Rasping Drive, who is just inside the top one million in the rankings.

The competition’s highest placed competitor Elvarus emerged victorious from his round three clash with Warsworn. Next up for this 167th placed manager is a fourth round tussle with 137,849 ranked Joey Barton and friends.

Other notable ties include former FPL champion Tom Fenley’s match-up with Flying Nugget.

The full  third round results can be found here, while the full fourth round draw can be found here.

Members Cup, Round 3

As mentioned, there will definitely be a new name on the trophy this time around with our former winner suffering an exit in the first round.

Despite being ranked only 495,513, Big Mac 24 may fancy his chances after dispatching round two’s highest ranked manager tisza (placed 223). Next up for this giant killer is another tough tie, against 81,560 placed Jeremylinter.

Mark survives his second round encounter with Deanamo Jammy to set up a sweet match up against 298,629 ranked Toffee777.

I also progress and take my 14,795 placed troops with me into a third round tie with rrcmc (ranked 302,688). Paul, who is placed at 223,287 in the rankings, is another survivor and has a tricky contest against No pressure jose (ranked 56,428).

The third round also features matches between Bend It Like Bennett and Gnu, while Cheeseoid takes on Gotham.

The full second round results can be found here, while the full third round draw can be found here.

Why is there so much love for Kane on here?

Yeah on his day he can be explosive but it hasn’t happened this season and we are half way through.

Granted he has a DGW but also has a blank week, so plays the same amount as everyone else. Sitting on 4 yellows too.

I’m getting rid for the next 3 weeks and will decide if it’s worth getting him back in for the DGW. Even then he has 2x games in 48 hours so minutes may be reduced

J.Egersdorf was great on the Scoutcast. No wonder he has done so well. He doesn't own any expensive strikers currently, brave moves...

Holgate looks very good value. Wonder why people aren't going for him rather than Kenny (whose place will be under threat soon from Coleman)?

    1. Ibracadabra
      • 16 Years
      8 years, 2 months ago

This one is pretty easy... Both Keane and Jagielka are currently fit and experienced CBs who could knock Holgate out instantly...

Coleman is not even back to full training yet, plus Kenny provides an attacking element with runs into the final third.

      2. Ibracadabra

        8 years, 2 months ago

That said, Holgate is still good value IF he keeps Keane/Jagielka out of the team long term. With Kenny you don't need to worry until Coleman makes a match day squad on the bench.

What does 'back' mean? Training with the first team or playing? He has a long way to get match fit and Everton will ease him back quite slowly

          1. Ibracadabra
            • 16 Years
            8 years, 2 months ago

This is correct. Coleman has been out for almost a year, Kenny is doing well. Coleman won't get straight back into the team, he could even play further forward as a winger - Aaron Lennon has been getting gametime there and Coleman is as pacy as Lennon (when fit), etc. Kenny under no real risk for at least 4-5 gameweeks in my opinion.

Whose place will be under threat from Keane or Jagielka?

He is playing very well no reason for Big Sam to displace him for Seamus.

      1. Numb
        • 11 Years

Holgate is also playing very well

    3. justlikehoney
      • 9 Years
      8 years, 2 months ago

There's more immediate competition for Holgate's place I would say, Keane & Jagielka can play centreback and Martina & Baines (when fit) for the left-back slot. We know Kenny is nailed on at right-back until Coleman returns.

As a Holgate owner I am concerned. Is moving to Kenny to sideways? Kenny looks like providing more assists

Think this is a good move for the next 3.

Kane has burnley away 🙁 Then southampton and a blank.

Aguero next 3 is delicious even with a few less minutes potentially.
