Gameweek 24 begins by the seaside as Brighton host champions Chelsea at the Amex Stadium.

Despite notable absentees for Chelsea, there is keen interest from a Fantasy perspective.

The Blues defence is heavily backed and, with five clean sheets from their last six Gameweeks, we should perhaps expect further returns against a goal-shy Seagulls.

However, with Thibaut Courtois missing through injury, there is disruption in the Chelsea rearguard, which could mean that owners of Marcos Alonso and Andreas Christensen may well be forced to seek attacking returns.

That’s not out of the question given that Antonio Conte’s side rank second for attempts from corner kicks, while Brighton have conceded more goals from dead-balls than any other side, including 12 from corners.

Elsewhere, the inclusion of Michy Batshuayi in Conte’s line-up suggests that Hazard will be sparred a false nine role, with Chelsea perhaps lining up in a 3-4-2-1.

Brighton’s formation is also significant, as Chris Hughton mirrors Chelsea’s three-man defence by handing a start to Connor Goldson alongside Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy. That’s a situation to monitor given his price tag of just 3.9.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

No they don't. But their dives are worse and usually have no contact whatsoever. Hazard has the quantity though

It depends what you qualify as a dive. Like the Arsenal one, if it had gone to VAR, would have been given as a penalty. He's playing within the rules even if he's a twat for going to ground so easily.

He goes down very easy, usually invites the challenge too. But not his fault stupid defenders always fall for it

Like the last incident that just happened, the defender clearly kicked him on the toe. Not enough to take him down but why isn't the defender being castigated for the kick rather than hazard for going down easily

True. Especially as Rudiger is really struggling with filling in at the full back spot when Brighton counter. Makes Christensen have to come over and... chaos.

Seen a few posts saying 'you're a casual if you own Hazard'.

If you sold him when he started blanking then fair play. If you held onto him and kept for these run of games then fair play.

The people I don't understand are those who kept through the bad run but then got rid before Brighton, Bournemouth, West Brom.

Murray in for Hemed will cause havoc with his headers.

    Bakayoyo is a terrible player.

Always looks like giving the ball away every time he gets it.

Kante must hate him but is far too nice to ever say anything.

The worst signing by far this season.

Drinkwater should play instead of Bakayoko. Title-winning midfield pairing

Not as bad as you term it. He needs to improve his passing though.

Come on now, even Chelski supporters must get nervous every time he receives the ball.

He's position is meant to be the epitome of solid reliability eg. Kante. Not nervous tension.

      Apparently

Baka tried to put Kante inside a Lego house ... things have never been the same since

Willing would’ve been a good RLC replacement, but alas 0.1m short. Always 0.1.

I'm reluctant to get Sane after I had him before. He plays too wide for me and doesn't get in on the action in front of goal often enough
