Gameweek 24 begins by the seaside as Brighton host champions Chelsea at the Amex Stadium.

Despite notable absentees for Chelsea, there is keen interest from a Fantasy perspective.

The Blues defence is heavily backed and, with five clean sheets from their last six Gameweeks, we should perhaps expect further returns against a goal-shy Seagulls.

However, with Thibaut Courtois missing through injury, there is disruption in the Chelsea rearguard, which could mean that owners of Marcos Alonso and Andreas Christensen may well be forced to seek attacking returns.

That’s not out of the question given that Antonio Conte’s side rank second for attempts from corner kicks, while Brighton have conceded more goals from dead-balls than any other side, including 12 from corners.

Elsewhere, the inclusion of Michy Batshuayi in Conte’s line-up suggests that Hazard will be sparred a false nine role, with Chelsea perhaps lining up in a 3-4-2-1.

Brighton’s formation is also significant, as Chris Hughton mirrors Chelsea’s three-man defence by handing a start to Connor Goldson alongside Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy. That’s a situation to monitor given his price tag of just 3.9.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Chelsea doing what they ought to be doing. Playing one touch football. Too many teams don't try it. Of course it is not going to work every time, but you only need it to come off once for it to work.

    Brag warning:

I told you that hazard would benefit from a switch from a 3-5-2 to a 3-4-3. Surely this will also increase the appeal of Morata. They were both hurting from the 3-5-2 formation..

Pedro sending off helps. He would start ahead of Willian usually and has not been that good this season.

More to do with no Morata than a formation change. Willian and Bats are better at the interplay that he instigates...

Willian might be, but bats is not! Morata is very decent in a 3-4-3.

Thing is Matic and Kanté made 3-4-3 work, cause Kante + Matic stayed back and (3 attackers) + 2 wingbacks (2 attackers) so they were often 5 vs 4

Bakayoko is not as strong defensively as Matic (yet?), so they don't get the freedom to push as many players forward as they used to

Why Chelsea sold Matic blows my mind, at least to a PL rival
