After Brighton claimed a vital win over Arsenal at the Amex Stadium, Sunday’s second and final fixture sees Manchester City entertain Chelsea in the 4pm kick-off.

The league leaders boast two of the top six captain picks for Gameweek 29 in Sergio Aguero (6.8%) and Kevin De Bruyne (2.5%).

Over their last four home matches, Aguero has nine goals and 50 points in Fantasy Premier League (FPL), while De Bruyne has three sets of double-digits and 45 points.

Leroy Sane’s goal and assist at the Emirates on Thursday evening has had a significant impact on the FPL transfer market. The most bought player (235,000+) for Gameweek 29, the German international goes in search of a sixth 10+ points haul in front of his own fans.

Meanwhile, sales of Raheem Sterling look set to escalate as he misses out again. The most sold player in each of the last two Gameweeks, he was transferred out by a hefty 746,000+ during that period.

For the visitors, Eden Hazard arrives on the back of fine recent away output – he’s racked up 40 points in his previous four on the road, thanks to four goals and an assist.

The Belgian looks set to start as a “false 9” today, with Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud named among the Chelsea subs.

Both Pedro and Willian start alongside Hazard, with the Brazilian, in particular, boasting fine form. Willian was bought by over 95,000 FPL managers for Gameweek 29, with last week’s opener at Old Trafford taking his tally to four strikes in the last three matches across all competitions.

Could be the most one-sided 1-0 victory in the premier-League era.

City played on Thursday and this is the football they are playing 2 days later. This City team can beat any team in the world. Hopefully they win the CL this season.

The venom directed against Conte for losing 1-0 on the road to the team of the decade is a bit surprising. It's not great but I've seen much worse.

Why is Willian being subbed before Pedro? People need to watch Chelsea against Brighton when Hazard, Willian and Batshuayi played as a front three. Best attacking football Chelsea played all season. Willian and Hazard have a great understanding.

Chelsea still down by only 1 score. This strategy is similar to other sports, like nfl and nhl. You play a high scoring team away, you play cautious, do what you can to keep it close. I find the comments here a bit surprising. Chelsea are 1 counter away from a draw, which would be like a win. If they went toe to toe with City, it’d be like 4-1. Conte knows this.

Not saying go toe-to-toe. But if you are going to defend deep then at least (i) get the ball to Hazard so he can run with it and (ii) have an out ball option (like Giroud).

To be fair, you get 0 points whether you lose 1-0 or 4-1. And it’s not like goal difference is a factor here. Chelsea should at least have done something!
