After Brighton claimed a vital win over Arsenal at the Amex Stadium, Sunday’s second and final fixture sees Manchester City entertain Chelsea in the 4pm kick-off.

The league leaders boast two of the top six captain picks for Gameweek 29 in Sergio Aguero (6.8%) and Kevin De Bruyne (2.5%).

Over their last four home matches, Aguero has nine goals and 50 points in Fantasy Premier League (FPL), while De Bruyne has three sets of double-digits and 45 points.

Leroy Sane’s goal and assist at the Emirates on Thursday evening has had a significant impact on the FPL transfer market. The most bought player (235,000+) for Gameweek 29, the German international goes in search of a sixth 10+ points haul in front of his own fans.

Meanwhile, sales of Raheem Sterling look set to escalate as he misses out again. The most sold player in each of the last two Gameweeks, he was transferred out by a hefty 746,000+ during that period.

For the visitors, Eden Hazard arrives on the back of fine recent away output – he’s racked up 40 points in his previous four on the road, thanks to four goals and an assist.

The Belgian looks set to start as a “false 9” today, with Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud named among the Chelsea subs.

Both Pedro and Willian start alongside Hazard, with the Brazilian, in particular, boasting fine form. Willian was bought by over 95,000 FPL managers for Gameweek 29, with last week’s opener at Old Trafford taking his tally to four strikes in the last three matches across all competitions.

Lloris is one of the most error prone GK after Hart and Mignolet.

Off topic but if Salah manages to put one past de gea next week, I think he’s got a real chance at breaking Vardy’s record for goals in consecutive PL games.
He’s now on 5, man utd would be 6, then the next six are Watford, Palace, Everton, Bournemouth, WBA and Stoke!
With the consistency he’s been showing and if he takes over penalty duties, he can do it.

But they could play Giroud as a long ball option and put Hazard on the left instead of Pedro. Would work out the same and Hazard and Willian have a good understanding.

      1. George Sillett
        • 10 Years
        8 years, 5 months ago

Sorry but Brosstan is right. Giroud as a long ball option removes a covering player as Giroud has the mobility of a bus.

        1. diesel001
          • 9 Years
          8 years, 5 months ago

Is Hazard doing that much covering? Plus Giroud useful at corners (attacking and defending)

          1. George Sillett
            • 10 Years
            8 years, 5 months ago

Who do you leave out then ? Whichever one it is reduces your cover.

              • 9 Years
              8 years, 5 months ago

Less worried about the cover. City are still creating chances even with this set up. Hazard is your best player and you need to release him. When he runs with the ball you will win free kicks, but he needs the ball.
