Huddersfield Town’s target man and a certain Liverpool winger both up their attacking potential ahead of a reduced Gameweek 31.
Meanwhile, big-hitters from the Leicester, Spurs and Arsenal midfields stake a claim for our upcoming Wildcards, while we also check out the impact of Chelsea’s new frontman at Stamford Bridge.
I’ve tried to apply a little “science” to figure out who to take hits for (mids and forwards only, as I don’t want to for defenders). I used these criteria:
1) Form at least 4pts / game
2) Green FDR
3) Started last 3 games
If I worked it out correctly, the most worthwhile players by this rationale are:

Well I guess there's a few ways to look at it, son did well when Kane was of the pitch, plus he can be quite greedy at times, not having to feed Kane may improve his own output.

It would probably make Salah-Mahrez-Son-Silva-Willian impossible but it's probably just a case of downgrading one.
Depends on team value but pretty sure that midfield is doable even with Kaku Auba. At least it was for Auba Firmino Ayew (not sure if I had Alonso in that one though).
I think our team values are similar. It's possible but the defence would have to be really cheap for me. I can't remember but I think it was just someone like Christensen or Mustafa and the rest cheapies.
Looking at having Mustafa/Monreal as well. Maybe double Utd defence for 32&34

Will lose more money on Kane if his price drops but he's the one I'd rather keep if his injury turns out not to be too bad.

Exactly, and if you already have 8-9 players this week then you're surely better off than most people, so it's a GW where hits have an incredibly low risk. For example, I'm tempted to get Stanislas, Butland and PvA for Walcott and 2 BGWers on an 8 pt hit, but if we assume that Walcott gets 2 points, then even if all of the players I bring in get 2 points, I only lose 4 pts.
The upside is much bigger than the downside.
Trying desperately to avoid this, made all the more difficult by a crap few weeks being outscored by casuals.

I have no Wildcard. Just judging opinion, and will make moves depending on price rises, if I deem it necessary given the BGW. Firm or VVD could become Vardy and Mustafi or summan.
Looking at getting in Butland and Baines with 2 free transfers to get 11 out. Is it OK this week to go with them even if play each other- may be a goalless draw or Baines may score well or Butland May get good save points....
