Gameweek 36 comes to its conclusion as Spurs welcome Watford to Wembley in Monday’s 8pm kick-off.

After Mohamed Salah’s rare blank on Saturday, Harry Kane has the chance to shake up the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) standings tonight.

The second top captain pick (17.84%) for this round of fixtures, Kane was handed the armband by 54 of the top 100 managers heading into Gameweek 36.

He was also the most bought player, earning 241,000 new owners, and is again the top transfer in as the north London side prepare for Double Gameweek 37 clashes against West Brom and Newcastle.

Yet his form is hardly prolific, with just a single goal scored over his last six league outings.

By comparison, the Spurs midfield have been far more reliable.

Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-min have both scored four times over the same period, while Dele Alli has netted on three occasions and also supplied a trio of assists.

The Dane is the most captained of that trio, with 84,608 FPL managers backing him with the armband.

Son could be the big differential. Handed the captaincy by just 32,917 FPL managers, the South Korean international has averaged seven points per home match this season.

Furthermore, he served up two goals and an assist in the corresponding fixture with the Hornets last term.

            Thanks, but that doesn't work as I would need -4 and I'm not confident Zaha will score 4 more points than Willian or Gross with DGW.

    Some thoughts would be appreciated. Current team as follows (* for SGW):

    McCarthy King Lowton* Long*

    £2.1 itb 1FT

    Looking at Firmino to Auba (reckon he starts up top less than three days after EL semi and will probably start second game, even if on left. Not to mention the final game where first team will either be rested for EL final or AW will play his strongest team with no EL final). Don't think there's anything else pressing - maybe Chilwell to Naughton for -4? Also not 100% sold on starting Mili over DGW Andy King - what do you think?

      Where are you in relation to your rival? If ahead, cover; if behind, go for Kane. Also, if your rival fdoesn't have Kane, simply owning him may be enough of a differential

      He got lucky on a tap in after he fell down. For whatever reason Watford refused to defend Tripper all night, so he was there unmarked to clean it up for Kane. There is no explosion coming from Kane based off what I saw last night. But he still might be the best TC option this week, simply due to a lack of nailed on options.

          Yeah but if Danilo hasn’t been playing I don’t see why he wouldn’t start him as he is second choice right back..certainly a better chance of playing two games than say Laporte imo

    Got a 40 point lead in my league, 2nd and 3rd do not have Salah at all...

    1) Lukaku Vardy Salah > Jesus Kane Pogba
    2) Lukaku Austin Salah > Jesus Kane Young
    3) Keep Salah and find something else, keep as a differential

    Bit of a dilemma.... chasing in my ML by 37pts. The two above have Kane and will surely both TC Kane this week. Do I bring him in and TC too, or save my TC for GWK 38 when I've got two ML cup finals and rely on some diffs to try and claw back the league?

      I would always use TC in a DGW, as it gets you more gametime (effectively six players rather than three). But maybe TC Jesus as a differential and hope for the best

      What’s worth more to you? The ML cup finals or the overall ML? 37 points is a lot of ground to make up at this point. I might just save the chip for the advantage it would give you in 38, especially if prizes or cash are on the line in your ML cup.

      I'd TC a player they have and you know they won't TC like Jesus or sterling , that way you gain loads of points on them, that's my plan anyway. And hope for kane not performing too ....

      Think his minutes may be limited after hobbling off and the WC imminent, Rashford is lurking on the bench too! I am personally selling, Kane and Jesus seem to be better options for next 3 games

      Keep Salah, bring Jesus in for Vardy and possibly downgrade Murray to Ayew. Not sure if that all work with your budget. Pray your premium defense comes good compared to his dumpster fire back line.

      With the season he is having, salah still can give you more than dgw players, so its better of keeping him especialy if you cant afford to bring him back for gw 38

      I'm in a similar situation. Do you have TC left?

      I'm keeping Salah and will probably TC in in 38. Final home game of the season against Brighton - almost two weeks before the CL final.
