The ScoutCast crew are joined by the current Fantasy Premier League pacesetter in this latest episode, as world number one Bharat Dhody drops by.

With ice flowing through his veins, Bharat risks the curse that has seen us dent the title tilt for previous top-ranked managers to join myself, Jonty, Andy and Az for a ScoutCast season highlight.

Inevitably, the four of us are a little star-struck, but in between our desperate attempts to convince Bharat to keep his cards close to his chest, we put his season and current mindset under scrutiny.

    I don't get the whole "captain x if you're leading, Y if you're chasing" thing. I'm 120+ ahead in my mini leagues and at highest ever OR.

    Why does that mean I should captain Kane? If all my rivals will likely go Jesus (I assume expecting a rank jump) then why shouldn't I? I'd enjoy a rank jump too! Could get first ever 3 digit finish...

      I agree.
      Not owning someone with good potential may be bad, but captaincy has to be given to the player we feel will score more, no matter what others managersdo.

      Imagine you chace 15pts gap.
      You know the leader will captain Kane, you also probably have most same players. Also you're not sure who to captain. So now what is the way to win it:
      A) copy him
      B) try to make a diference

      One option presents more risk more reward over the other, simple as.

      Last Double gameweek - captain Kane/Lukaku if leading (safe) captain Sanchez if not (not safe but potentially explosive)

      It's called taking a gamble by being different than your rival with the hope of jumping him. If you are only chasing overall rank points it doesn't matter what anyone else does. Just go with the strongest option regarding form and fixtures

    Who to bring in for Willian?
    A) Arnautovic

    Note: I do plan to bring Salah back for GW38.

    With Salah in mind, if I go for Tadic, I'll obviously switch Tadic (vs. MCI) back out, as part of a move with Vardy, to get Salah in GW38. However, if I bring in Arnautovic, I will probably not want to lose him for GW38 (vs. EVE). I have to lose -someone- to get Salah back...

      Great question. It's possible. I reckon he will get Hudd and Saints though. Although Pep has been great about letting him spend as much time with the family as possible so Bernardo could well come in.
