The biggest Gameweek of the season kicks off on a barmy Friday night on the south coast as Brighton host second-placed Manchester United.

Fantasy managers will be focused on the away side, despite the absence of their most popular asset, striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian misses out through injury as Jose Mourinho hands starting roles to Marcus Rashford and Antony Martial in his front three. Juan Mata also comes into a much-changed line-up as Alexis Sanchez is omitted from the squad.

Significantly, Paul Pogba is named on the teamsheet once again. United’s form player, the Frenchman has three goals and an assist from his last four starts and goes into tonight’s match as the fourth most signed play having been snapped up by 140,000+ managers ahead of the deadline.

Elsewhere for United, Chris Smalling could be a key figure against a Brighton defence that has proved vulnerable at set-plays. The Seagulls have conceded 20 goals, including 14 from corners – more than any other side. Smalling has three goals in his last seven starts and top scored in the previous Double Gameweek with 15 points.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Confidence has gone. Young players make mistakes, but if you are going to get berated every time you try something with an element of risk then what do you expect to happen.

Congratulations to Brighton on staying in the PL. A very likeable manager and a good set of players who work for each other.

    Well deserved.

Pretty great for their fans to have the team clinch safety at home against United.

Jose has changed since his time in Spain. What happened to the Mourinho of 2004?

    Brighton SAFE!

Pep doesn't need to respect the relegation battle on Wednesday, rotation galore.

Yaya, Foden, Diaz & Nmecha owners the real winners!

Brighton owners the real winners then. They’re gonna clean sheet the sh*t out of Nmechas and Yayas.

On the plus side, if they get that rest, they should start against Southampton in 38 who could still have something to play for.

Fair play to Brighton. Don't know how they survived the onslaught we probably just gave them. Great little club
