Double Gameweek 37 comes to a close at the London Stadium this evening, as West Ham entertain Manchester United at 7.45pm.

The visitors boast three of the top ten players for transfers in ahead of last Friday’s Fantasy Premier League (FPL) deadline.

Paul Pogba (147,000) was second only to Raheem Sterling in midfield, Chris Smalling (133,000) was the most bought defender, while over 68,000 turned to Marcus Rashford up front due to Romelu Lukaku’s ankle injury.

Unfortunately for Rashford’s owners, he drops to the bench as Jose Mourinho makes eight changes as a result of Friday’s 1-0 loss at Brighton. Pogba and Smalling, along with David De Gea, are the only players to retain their starts.

Drafted in by 15,000+, the fit-again Alexis Sanchez is back on the teamsheet tonight. Similar to Pogba, he had two double-figure hauls in his four appearances prior to Gameweek 37.

This evening’s line-up suggests that Sanchez could be handed a role up front, with Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw operating as wing-backs.

Meanwhile, De Gea – owned by over 45% – is the Red Devils’ most captained player, with over 61,000 handing him the armband.

For the Hammers, Marko Arnautovic (58,000+) was the main draw ahead of their two matches.

While the Austrian chipped in with an assist in the 2-0 win at Leicester, he was somewhat overshadowed by midfield differentials Joao Mario and Mark Noble. Both grabbed a goal apiece to tally 11 and 10 points respectively so far.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

how this question is still being asked and we are in f***ing GW37.. Have you seen Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea play this season?

In the league you've lost against all of the top 6 except Arsenal, you lost against Swansea City and your team draw in 12 matches ffs.. Do you expect to be second?

No, you're missing the point. But I wouldn't expect any less.

And for what it's worth, you win nothing finishing second. I would happily sacrifice one or two places in the league to be in with a chance of being European Champions.

Second guarantees Champion's League next year. Finishing third/fourth or perhaps fifth and losing to Real Madrid in the final doesn't.

hit the nail on the head. if the league table was added up in secret and I had to guess who was placed where i’d have them on equal footing with Chelsea. they’ve just eked out so many results it’s amazing that they’ve outperformed Liverpool and spurs

        1. Richd

If they did it in secret I’d go all da Vinci code on them and make a note of all the points. Then make big bets at the bookies!

Man City to win the league imo

Other teams played much better than you though. You had your fair share of decision in the big games even if you utd fans don't see it. Without them and spurs having the new ground to contend with and your keeper being super human I'm not sure you would be second

Would this front 7 be affordable next year?

    Salah, Sterling, Eriksen, Arnie, Mili
    Firmino, Vardy

Thinking about 67.5-ish so probably not...

    13.0, 10.0, 9.5, 8.5, 6.5
    10.0, 9.0

Fpl have a history of making players tough to pick.

It’s hilarious sometimes. And they don’t drop.

I looked at Roses price for Sunday, and I was shocked...

True... will be interesting to see if they think Sterling is ready for a >10.0 price tag... I think he needs another big 200 point season to prove himself then he’ll be a big hitter for years

    Assuming Barnes is out...
    A) Play two Burnley defenders
    B) Play Ki of Swansea (I know)

    C) Take a hit for....
    1) Morgan to Tomkins
    2) Morgan to TAA
    3) Barnes to Ayew
    4) Ki to RLC

I recognise nothing looks nice, but I'm already doing Haz to Salah for captaincy.

Playing double Burnley not worth it given their recent thrashing. Play ki I reckon

Maybe Morgan to Tomkins for goal threat but not sure for a hit goven WBA 's form

I’m thinking of a 442 or 451 next season and sticking to it.

I know Player recruitment can change but something like

    Cheap keepers
    Alonso, Bavies, Smalling, Burnley, 4.0
2/3 premium mids, one mid price, fodder
Two acceptable strikers and a fodder

Same here, defenders around the 6.0 range are more reliable than punts on midfielders at that price

Sean Morrisson. Cardiff Def. 4.5 hopefully.

Alonso depends on who comes in and what formation CHelsea play. He would be terrible FPL asset in a 4 Man def.

    Final score prediction challenge?!

    West Ham - Man U

    I reckon 0 - 1

This has the feel of a game where Mourinho will be moaning afterwards that they were really unlucky to not win. Draw or 1-0 West Ham for me.

Christ Man U are just the dullest of teams to watch. I can barely remember them under Fergie.

Im a United fan and i cant stand watching them at the moment. Wife almost had a heart attack when i said she could watch Greys Anatomy instead of me watching the game tonight.

They were pretty dull towards the end of fergies reign. They kept scraping 1 0 wins I seem to recall. I'd hate to follow them myself

      Thank god for that

They used to be a nightmare for the rest of us

Now they’re like Tony Pulis with money and fans in India

They attacked with a high tempo and played 100minute games if they were losing or drawing.
